Stayed Nov 20, 2024First, the location of this apartment is perfect. Walking distance to everything and a nice neighborhood feel with lots of very nice restaurants and shops, and we felt safe. Wifi was dependable. Check-in was smooth and communication with the owner and staff was excellent. The apartment itself, though needs a lot of work. Paint peeling, dirty, run-down furniture, faucets dripping, refrigerator not working, freezer needs defrosting, kettle not working, holes in sheets, extremely thin mattresses. There are actually two separate apartments, which we didn’t expect. From the listing, this appears as one apartment with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms. In reality, it’s one building with multiple apartments. Altogether, it’s an A+ for location and check-in, but I have to rate as poor for the apartment itself.

Stayed Sep 28, 2024We had a nice time, good location, and spacious. A couple of issues, in one apartment one shower did not have hot water while the other shower didn’t drain. In the other apartment, the toilet was not sealed and it leaked all over the floor. So we did have to navigate our schedule accordingly so that we all had enough time to get ready and be sure not to use the one toilet.

Stayed Jul 17, 2024The leaky kitchen sink drips when turned off, and is hardly a trickle when turned on. There is a hole in the wall where the air condition hose goes out, very open to the outside so bugs, noise, humidity etc. get in. This apartment's AC doesn't work as well as the other apartment's AC. In the other apartment, the tub simply doesn't have water. So there is only 1 shower for that apartment. The coffee maker didn't work, it made cold coffee the heating component was broken. There is a door in the middle of the apartment that has a broken handle and it could potentially lock you from the other side if you close it by mistake. One night, the power to the whole building went off at 2 AM. This woke everyone up, the heat was awful and the noise from the street was no longer subtly masked from the humming of the AC. The noise from the street is real, during one early morning hour we counted 5 alarms going off with vehicles/vespas. The people closing down the restaurant were so loud it was as though chairs and tables were being thrown about. We can handle city noise, but this situation was something else entirely. I would not recommend it for sensitive sleepers. No dryer, only a washer. Sofa beds were not comfortable, On the positive side, the apartments were charming like in the pictures. Very pretty.

Stayed Jul 20, 2024Great stay with helpful hosts and welcome charm of a classic Rome apartment with big spaces and air conditioning! Loved the location within the old narrow street or central Rome with short walks to the major sights and every restaurant optional imaginable just downstairs or at every block in all directions.

Stayed Nov 11, 2023Easy walk to the Vatican and all the major sites in Rome. The noise coming from “music” playing Saturday night with a heavy disco beat could be heard through the closed windows into the early morning hours.

Stayed Jun 4, 2023Could walk to anything we wanted to go to a very easily. Very close to all of the historical monuments like Trevi fountain, colosseum, pantheon, and even Vatican. And very spacious, and overall, very happy with the property. Only negatives were that the air conditioner in the living room was not functioning, though not too bad when you open the windows at night. The other negative was that one of the bathrooms did not have a shower, but only a bathtub.

Stayed Apr 7, 2023As the overview describes, these apartments are in a great location, and are large and nicely appointed. Having 2 apartments side by side is also very convenient. That said, there are major problems - the most important of which is the noise. The apartments are half a block from a bar that plays extremely loud music into the wee hours of the morning. Only 2 of the 6 bedrooms are spaces quiet enough to get some sleep. This was true 6 of the 8 nights that we were there. And even the two quiet bedrooms have issues on weekdays, as there is currently construction across the alley that begins early in the morning. In addition, we had significant plumbing issues in one of the apartments, such that you could not flush the toilet at night in one of the bathrooms (extremely loud noise) and had to go through someone's bedroom to get to the other toilet. The tub in that bathroom also did not drain. Hot water was not always available in the bathroom with the problematic toilet. Lastly, there was no clothes dryer as advertised, so anything you wash must be hung-dried. We washed one load and it took so long to dry, we didn't attempt another. The plumbing issues can be fixed, but not sure how you deal with the noise unless the city passes an ordinance. I thought maybe it was an Easter weekend problem but read a review from January that I hadn't seen before we booked (it was in French and the English reviews were so positive I didn't bother to translate) and they had the same noise issue.

Stayed Mar 23, 2023We had a great trip with 8 family members, which we split between 2 apartments. Excellent neighborhood with plenty to do, see and eat, close proximity to all major sights. We had a wonderful time. The apartments were well furnished and had all we needed.

Stayed Mar 18, 2023We were two families renting both apartments, 4 adults and 6 kids ages 8-14. Same floor and very easy to go back and forth between the two. Very helpful hosts Tania and Pierluigi! Booked Colosseum and Vatican tours through Tania which were great! Cheaper than on the trip sites, also smaller group tours with knowledgeable and engaging guides which were perfect. Very long lines at Vatican that we skipped, truly like fast pass lane at Disney! Pierluigi arranged transportation for us which was on time and clutch as we needed to leave for the airport at 4am. Note that he works with a private company so it costs more, but reliability is better, as opposed to taxis which may or may not show up and definitely won’t wait on you. Easy to walk to several major sites from these apartments, including Trevi fountain, Pantheon, and Vatican (which is a little farther but easily doable). We walked to the Colosseum as well which was the longest walk but so much history to see along the way that it was worth it. Several restaurants right out the door. Views of bell tower and dome from some of the windows were magical. Apartments well equipped with everything we needed. This is a busy area so there was noise at night, but the location and short time we were there made this ok. I recommend this place for sure.
