Tangalooma House Moreton Island - Airconditioning and WIFI

It was great to be back staying in this house with the family, the best views, a close walk down to tangalooma and had everything we needed. Definitely be back soon!

The house was clean, well stocked has beautiful views and 2 fridges which was really handy. There is plenty of room for the family and a number of balconies, so there is always somewhere to enjoy the views and weather. We had family staying at Deep Blue and there is a path/stairs right next to the house that got us right down to the buildings and therefore the beach and Tangalooma amenities. The owners are super responsive and friendly. Highly recommend this house.

Exceptional stay, perfect for families and an ideal island escape.We had an outstanding stay at this property. The location is excellent, with easy access to the resort amenities, making it incredibly convenient for both relaxation and activities. The home was immaculate on arrival exceptionally clean, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully presented.It’s very well equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay, including a great kitchen setup, laundry facilities, and plenty of space for everyone. The layout is practical and inviting, making it easy to unwind and enjoy time together. The beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep after busy days exploring.The property is also very baby and kid friendly, with plenty of room for little ones to play safely and comfortably. The outdoor deck area was a highlight a wonderful spot to enjoy meals and take in the stunning views. The only minor note was that the BBQ took a little time to get going, but it simply gave us a few extra moments to enjoy the scenery while the food cooked.Overall, this is an excellent holiday rental clean, comfortable, well appointed, and perfectly located. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing and memorable island getaway.

Amazing sunsets every night. We loved our stay and will definitely be back. Very easy to get around and was great having our 4WD to explore the island.

This property has spectacular views over Moreton Bay and its stunning sunsets. The house is very spacious, with large living areas and decks, on both levels. It is very well equipped both in the kitchen and for generally enjoying a great holiday - lots of games for the kids, a kayak, fishing rods and a table tennis table. You feel right at home as soon as you walk in. It is only 2 minutes from the resort itself but there are 125 steps up to the property so book a taxi for your luggage.

Tangalooma House was perfect for our stay. Large, comfortable, 3 bedroom home with amazing views of the bay below. Close to the beach and resort. Recommend arranging luggage drop off and pick up via resort reception. Great way to get your steps up … only 100 steps down to the beach. Good walking tracks to the edge of the desert and down to beach. Coffee at the resort got the tick of approval! We didn’t have a car so booked a bus tour to the north of the island which took in the beautiful beaches and lighthouse. Guide (Doc) was experienced and knowledgeable. Shout out to the lovely hosts who were very accommodating.

The property is exactly as described in thead. Beautiful location and absolutely everything that you need to make your stay a memorable one. We would definitely book again.

Good property, only needs a better Vac and something to wipe floors and benches with Spray and wipe.

Would recommend for anyone, family, friends, anyone. This was an amazing stay. Only thing to note is there are about 50 stairs to climb to get to the house, try and book luggage transport :))

Linda was amazing from the get go! So responsive to messages and went above and beyond with giving information and helping me. We are a family of 5 (7yo, 5yo 3yo boys). The property is amazingly spacious, the photos dont do it justice. We could have easily had another family stay with us. The stay: Checking in was easy, our ute fit in the garage once we put the clothesline down (yes a full clothesline!) There are 2 fridges in the house (1 kitchen x 1 garage). Heaps of beach activities which we borrowed incl cricket, snorkelling gear (even kids sized ones), boogie boards, a huge kayak. A table tennis in the garage which kept the biys entertained as we unpacked/packed each day for our 4wd adventures. There's a hose out the front which we used to hose down the car each day we returned from adventures. The steps to the resort are literally next to the house, i watched my boys walk down several times. Hubby would take the beach trolley on the road and he said it was easy enough, but a much longer walk than the stairs. I recommend a flashlight (or just your phone torch as we did) in the dark. The house has a washer and dryer, dishwasher. Really great to have some basics in the pantry - though we had brought our own, great selection of pots and pans, plenty of cutlery, crockery and a whole bunch of cooking utensils including knives, even storage containers. The view is unbelievable, the best holiday we have ever had as a holiday. We will be going back to Moreton

Being so close to Tangalooma Resort and the beach made it easy to explore the area. The house was very spacious and had many different areas to relax. The views over the beach and wrecks were amazing. We would definitely recommend this property and would stay there again.

Wonderful home. Had everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Awesome views. Had local kookaburras visit for morning tea and dinner.

We had a very fun 3 days and nights. Fantastic house, beautiful views, very tidy and has everything you need. Owner of the house very helpful and quickly responds to all questions. We’ll be back.

As there were only 3 of us, hard to say how it would work for more people. We were very comfortable. Despite the bad weather we were able to explore the entire island. Recommend cooking for yourself as offerings at the Tangalooma resort weren’t great. Didn’t try their pizza however.

Fantastic hosts. Immediate response always and went out of their way to help us when I booked the wrong ferry! Beautiful view, comfort all round - beds, chairs and outdoor furniture. Whilst up a few steps to get the view, a great location - above the jetty. We all loved it - thank you.
