Tamarack Haven close to Glacier Park, Whitefish!

This beautiful, one-level Montana mountain lodge home is on 5 wooded acres in a most convenient location to everything! Besides the stunning home itself (more on that in a few), you will be less than 20 minutes to Glacier National Park, Glacier International Airport, and Whitefish Mountain (skiing and mountain biking). With an open floor plan and an additional space to rent in this Montana Haven, you have found your perfect place to relax and enjoy all the mountains and lakes have to offer. <br>
Upon arrival, walk into a grand open living space framed by huge timber beams, expansive windows, stone fireplace, and dark woods. Rough sawn wood floors throughout the living space paired with the overhead timber beams, an immense kitchen island and granite counter tops, and a majestic single-beam ponderosa pine bar immerse you in mountain luxury while you’re spending time with friends and family.

Everyone has a comfortable seat to spread out on the ample plush sectional and loveseat perfect for movie nights in front of the large TV with surround sound. Charades anyone Plenty of open space the in vast living area for games or your morning yoga stretches.

The walnut wood custom-crafted kitchen is outfitted with everything you need to prepare meals for everyone or to spread out a snack bar for a lazy day at home. A separate large dining table is adjacent to the kitchen (and open to living room) where you can sit and enjoy the view of the wildlife that frequent the area (especially deer and turkeys). A patio with a large gas grill awaits all your grilling adventures. There is even an outdoor fire pit where you can create your own smores and tell campfire stories. Outdoor games including cornhole and horse shoes are provided for more frolicking!

With in-floor heating, you won’t have cold feet in the 3 bedrooms, each with custom made Amish furniture made with cherry, hickory, and pine woods.

The master bedroom has a gorgeous king size cherry wood bed, ensuite bathroom with and a huge walk-in shower, and plenty of storage for your vacation wear.

Both guest rooms have comfortable queen beds and with lots of storage in the dressers and closets. The 2nd shared bathroom has shower/tub combo for soaking in hot bath after a long day of skiing or hiking. Authentic Montana maps, photography, relics, and antiques grace the walls of this lodge home.

Need to do some work Off the living area and right inside the front door is where the office is located. You’ll have a desk to tap away on your laptop, and cozy lounging couch for quiet reading.

If you have more than 6 people traveling with you, you have an option for renting the additional alpine chalet retreat above the garage for 2 more guests which is finished with tongue and groove blue pine throughout and has its own full bathroom for convenience. The space is outfitted with 2 queen-sized futons (can be used as a sofa or bed) and a dining table for games or an extra separate workspace.

No need to pack dirty laundry when you leave either. The huge mudroom has a large washer, dryer, and utility sink to help keep the mountains out of your suitcases and bags.

This Montana retreat is centrally located for a perfect vacation. To help give you an idea of the proximity to the places that are important, we’ve listed the drive times for you… 11 mins from Glacier International Airport 15-20 mins from Glacier National Park 20 mins to Big Mountain (ski resort in Whitefish and summer biking trails) 5 mins to Flathead River (rafting, fishing, etc) 3 mins to downtown Columbia Falls (grocery, restaurants, music, stores) 10-15 mins to downtown Whitefish (restaurants, shops) and Whitefish lake 3 mins from North fork road leading to Polebridge (a must for their famous pastries!) 5 mins to Meadowlake Golf Course 30 mins to Bigfork and Flathead Lake 25 mins to Kalispell for big box stores and more restaurants 35 mins to Flathead lake cherry orchards 75 mins to Canadian border at Roosville (entrance to go to Banff National Park)
