Wonderful Georgian Manor house with 13 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms (4 Super King + 1 King + 5 doubles + 3 singles). Absolute privacy and exclusivity. We charge £2000 for one night for up to 16 people including breakfast. Further nights are £1600 per night. Dining room seats 16 in comfort but the house can sleep 23 and the dining-room fits 20 at a real squash!. Drawing room, log fire, large television room , large entrance hall. Stayed Jun 19, 2023What a fabulous stay we had! Rented the property for a small group destination wedding. Being from the US, had only the website and reviews for making our decision on where to go. Tall John’s House exceeded our expectations! Beautiful property, meticulously maintained. Fabulous staff, friendly, helpful and so accommodating. Liza was wonderful and so easy to work with. She responded quickly to emails, made helpful suggestions, provided me with detailed information which made decision making easy and took care of everything. So easy for me! I highly recommend Tall Johns!

Stayed Dec 8, 2017The rustic splendour of Tall John's and the adjoining Honeysuckle cottage were perfect for our pre Christmas family get together. There were 20 of us in total and everyone had a great time thanks to the absolutely superb service provided by the outstandingly friendly, helpful and efficient housekeeper Liz. She not only responded well to our requests but also anticipated what we might want and made some great suggestions. We ordered two 3 course meals during our stay and they were both superb - the cheese souffle starter was the best I have ever had and the rest of the food was great too - and very reasonably priced. I would thoroughly recommend Tall John's to anyone looking for a large country house with great service and in an excellent location for walking in the beautiful Brecon Beacons area.

Stayed Oct 21, 2017What a wonderful house to stay in to celebrate my husband's 60th Birthday along with old friends. Storm Brian did his best to dampen our enthusiasm but to no avail. The house was extremely comfortable and provided for all our needs. We were looked after superbly by the staff who were very helpful. Ken did a wonderful dinner for us on the Saturday evening along with a much needed full English the following morning. A wonderful house to relax in and enjoy the company of great friends without the hassle of cooking and clearing up. Thank you all for a great time. Catherine
