Talinga on the Bay, Penneshaw

Good location, beautiful view, comfortable for a whole family to stay.

Very central to everything we wanted. Very comfortable residence. Beds/pillows were amazing! The house needed a good airing before being let.

The only problem was that you couldn’t lock the front door! Should have booked a much longer stay! 👍😀

It was an excellent location and a beautiful spacious property. We could walk to the town and even played a game of pool. :) Everything was perfect!

Everything we could want was here. This was our second time at this property. The position is fabulous, easy to walk to everything in Penneshaw. A pleasure all round.

The location was good but the host was not great and did not communicate well.

Great views, close to beach and a lovely stroll into town. Very comfy beds. Loved our 2 nights at Talinga!Perfect location - easy walk from the ferry and a short walk to the supermarket & shops in Penneshaw. Really comfortable space for 2 friends, with plenty of spare room. The hosts have done a great job with renovations & the house felt really lovely!Both of us are already planning our next stay, thank you!

great location, quiet street , pet friendly

Host was prompt with answering questions. House was Clean and tidy, and of course pet friendly was the bonus.

Check-in was seamless - Ros had left the house opened with the keys on the bench. She turned up later that afternoon to set and light a fire for us, and was able to return the next morning to help us navigate the stovetop.Very helpful and friendly.

The house is very comfortable, close to town and has a great view of the beach. The owner was very easy to contact and we totally enjoyed the stay. Thanks Ros.

We were very happy with the accommodation including the modern well stocked kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. It was comfortable and roomy. As we drove there Penneshaw was a great location as it was very close to the ferry. There were some interesting walks nearby. We did a day tour which also left from Penneshaw.Would love to come back and stay at the house for a longer period of time to further explore. We decided not to bring the dogs but the area at the back would be very suitable. Many thanks and regards.

Great location Lovely view of ocean Nice and quiet

Main shower mixer is reversed. Hot is cold and cold is hot. I wouldn’t want to unknowingly put a small child in there and select the wrong temperature setting.

Deceptively spacious. Easily caters to a large family with two bathrooms, dining room and a games room. Great kitchen area that looks out over the sea and ferry terminal. Very comfortable accommodation and short walk into town and the beach. Highly recommend.

Myself and a work colleague stayed for 3 nights for work. Everything was clean and well set out. Very comfortable. We were working all day but nice to come back and relax at the end of the day. 2 bathrooms which is a plus. You can see the Sealink dock and leave. Didn't get to use the pool table in the end but maybe next time.

Great house in lovely location- beautiful views over the water, can walk into town and sculpture trail passes by end of street. Owner responsive to communication, house has everything needed, kids loved pool table!

The property is located a few hundred metres from the ferry but very quiet & a lovely outlook. Cafes a short walk away with great coffee. All new kitchen, bathrooms & laundry. Perfect for families and Ros was the perfect host

Fabulous location and a very comfortable house

The sunrise coming up over the mainland each morning is a sight to behold & this property is situated perfectly to take it all in. The interior is nicely renovated and has all the conveniences of home such as dishwasher and washing machine. The pool table provides a nice break with non-digital fun and the back yard is conveniently enclosed for the dogs.
