Stayed Dec 12, 2025This is a lovely and cosy property for staying in the donner/tahoe area. The property is pet friendly. I forgot to declare the pet before arriving as plans changed such that I needed to bring my dog with us. The owner simply charged me the appropriate fee and there was no further issue. Stayed Mar 16, 2025Spent an awesome 5 nights at this gem of a house in Tahoe Donner. House is comfortable and well-outfitted and was cozy for our party of 7 and a pup. Location is close to Truckee and not too far for skiing at Palisades/Alpine, which we did daily. Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed Mar 7, 2025Ski trip with extended family members for a total of 5 of us and 2 small dogs. The accommodations were perfect for our needs. Central heating works well which is a must (wasn’t the right season to test AC) and no issues with hot water. It could take a couple minutes for the cold water to evacuate the pipes before hot came out of the faucet, particularly on first use, but it always came and it wasn’t merely lukewarm, fortunately they have no plumbing issues because the water would be truly hot, something very necessary in the cold of winter. Very cozy ambiance, feels modern. Everything our family was looking for. Not far from several ski resorts. Feels a bit out of the way driving there, which was initially a negative, but it was nice and peaceful at night which helped us rest and reset for following days. Will certainly be looking to stay here again, particularly for medium/large groups.
