Sycamore Cottage in Sutton Knob

The home is very nice, but a few things need attention. The driveway really needs improvement. With a large vehicle, we got a lot of tires spinning going up the steep gravel driveway. The clothes washer required us to continually use the pause button to get to fill with water. ( Possibly a sensor issue?) We couldn't find a kitchen sink stopper and were told that there was a Keurig coffee maker when there wasn't one. Prepare to bring your own ice as ice maker is not connected on the refrigerator. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and especially enjoyed the wall Scrabble board.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was well appointed and beautifully decorated. The only suggestion we would make is to add some kind of storage in the upstairs bedroom with the king bed. Without a dresser or some shelving, it was hard to store items that couldn’t go in the closet. White Squirrel Realty is very responsive and we will definitely want to rent again. Thanks!

Not single complaint to be found inside this modern mountain cottage. We visit Brevard every summer with our 3 kids and this gets my vote for the nicest rental we've had in 7 years. We normally rent in Connestee Falls but this rental is so close to Pisgah it makes it so easy to go on adventures and return home quickly without the long drive back to Connestee. Everything seemed brand new, the home, the bed & linens. It was all so comfy and cozy. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed our meals on the covered porch. I highly recommend.

This was our 4th stay in Sutton Knob and first time at Sycamore cottage. Beautiful home with plenty of space. We enjoyed the giant Scrabble board and had some wonderful family breakfasts at the large dining table. We will be back soon!

This home is adorable and was close to trails and to town. Beautiful area. We will stay here again. Suggestions: Some frying pans that aren't coated in Teflon, bring ice because there isn't an icemaker in the refrigerator, which is fine. Maybe a lamp in the Great Room.

The screened in porch is so pleasant with a great view. Great room is huge and comfy. The beds are so good I want to buy that mattress for my home. Bathrooms new and fresh with stylish appointments. Kitchen is right out of restoration hardware. So nice. We loved it!!!!!

Well-designed property. Very nicely furnished. Very comfortable. Very challenging to access, particularly in the dark. Street signs are very hard to read. We had a nice stay despite rain and more rain,
