Sweeping Views of Depoe Bay-Enjoy Whale Watching from this Water Front Condo

THE UNIT WAS GREAT!!!! WE HAVE ENJOYED THIS UNIT FOR SEVERAL YEARS.

We have been sick ever since with mold induced bronchitis (according to two doctors) with e.r. Visit and much distress. We suspect black mold in one of the bedroom closets. We were there during torrential rains which only exacerbated things.

the place was fine. The check in and trying to find the place was a horrible situation. No signage on the building. Had to go to other places to try to find out where to go. The building from the road looked like storage building. It was awful.

Beautiful place, beautiful area, gorgeous view of the ocean from the living room window, responsive host.

The place has a great view and is well equipped with cooking supplies. It does need some attention to ceiling in the bathrooms, they are moldy.

This place was perfect for our girls trip. Clean and comfortable. Beautiful views and walking distance to some great restaurants.

This is a nice place, spacious and clean. The view is okay but there is only room for 2 people on a very small deck of the upper level. The large window has a very nice view if you are okay sitting inside. The main bedroom is large and has a beautiful bathroom. The second bedroom has a musty smell, no fan, so I had the window open while we were there. During the day the road noise is louder than the ocean but as it settles down at night it is much more peaceful. We were able to see whales along the shore and had a great sunset to enjoy.

Great Spot and other than a couple of issues that we discovered, it is a great place and a good value. I've attached a couple of pictures, 1 is of a significant mold problem in the front bedroom closet. This issue caused our guests to have to sleep on the pull-out sofa, because one of them could not handle the mold smell in the room. The other picture is of the right front window; the shade chain is missing so that operating the shade was next to impossible. And finally, the TV cable remote batteries were dead. Unfortunately, we have seen this issue all too often in rental properties. Overall, we had a great time but are extremely disappointed about the mold issue and not be able to use the room at all. The unit really should not be rented until the mold has been remediated and the cause of it repaired. Pictures are attached below.

The stay was great! Location is perfect! There were a few minor issues with the toilet flushing levers. (They need replaced) other than that we had a blast! Thank you

This place has many advantages. It is bi-level so it feels very spacious. That view out the window is mesmerizing. Everything you would expect was provided. Comfy beds. They helped us out a lot when my daughter left her make up bag behind. They were able to send it to us quickly. A very nice stay.

This was the first experience with Vrbo and was not sure what to expect, but the process was seamless and simple. The place itself far exceeded our expectations. It was decorated adorably! It was very clean and cozy. It was also in a wonderful area and we were quite comfortable there. Would recommend 10/10

The best part about this condo is the view outside the window overlooking the bay. We saw several whales in the bay from this beautiful overlook. The location is great, near restaurants and shops. The exterior is not impressive. The interior is dated but livable with coastal grandma decor.We didn't receive the email with the condo unit number (A-1) nor the key box code as promised. We contacted the property management company to get that info. The condo is next to Hwy 101, the windows/doors are old, and the traffic is loud. There is one parking spot. We discovered giant slugs in a bedroom. We contacted the property management company, and they sent someone out. They didn't find any more slugs, but they did find salamanders in the closet wall. The inside of the closet had recent water damage and smelt musty. The maintenance guy fixed the salamander problem by screwing a new piece of sheet rock over the water damaged wall in the closet. When I sent them the photo of the giant slimy slugs to the property management company, along with the slime trail they had left along the carpet, they agreed they were slugs. As far as I know, they didn't do anything about the slug problem. Maybe they thought the slugs were coming from the same place as the salamanders? I advised them the carpets needed to be cleaned due to slug slime. They followed-up with us and apologized several times, then offered us a 20% discount. Other than the slugs and salamanders, we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful condo. Perfect accommodations for a weekend on the coast with friends. Host very responsive to questions and provided good restaurant recommendations within walking distance. Highlight was whale watching just minutes from the condo.

Lovely view of the ocean and very comfortable accommodations. Easy walk to a delicious restaurant next door. Everyone in our party from a toddler to a couple seniors were comfortable and enjoyed the place!

Loved it! Will stay here again!

Two seniors enjoyed sitting by window and watching waves. Walked to nearby coffee & restaurant and along coastal path. Stairs, which we knew about, a bit of challenge. Lovely home, decor, great shower!

Good locations and view but cleanliness was not the best. Weird food splatters on the walls that we felt obligated to clean up and the fire alarms were beeping due to low batteries. Tried to contact the host but didn’t hear back from them on helping us. For having to pay such a high cleaning fee it didn’t feel clean.

Cute condo, great location and wonderful view.

We just needed our ocean fix, and Salt Therapy was the perfect location to do that. We would definitely stay there again.

Very nice. Kitchen was sparsely furnished with utensils and dishes and coffee cups. There were no paper towels, which is unusual. The view was great. The bed was very comfortable.it is not handicap friendly.lots of stairs. The shower in the master bath was awesome

Place could've been cleaner but the major problem was the water dripping from the kitchen ceiling and pouring from the light fixtures in one bedroom. We probably saved the property owner from disaster by placing pans to catch the gallons of water that hit the bed and bedroom flooring and table. An offer to move us was unsatisfactory as it required moving to a different city and the waiving of 50% of one night's fee was hardly compensation for the stress. VRBO will not be getting my business again.

We loved the location, we could walk everywhere including up the street to an amazing cliff side trail to watch crashing ocean waves. We were 2 minute walk to Tidal Raves which was an amazing restaurant. Bay View Thai kitchen another great restaurant. The condo was well equipped, spacious and clean.Our party of four would highly recommend this place.

Wonderful visit

Could be 1 step up in cleanliness due to having to sweep the deck, front entryway and crums on the front windowsill. Besides that had a great stay and enjoyed the condo.

Awesome master shower and view from upstairs. Was a little on the pricey side but very nice place.

We had a wonderful week at this property. It is as advertised. The view from the living room and balcony are absolutely beautiful. I spent every morning sitting on the balcony watching the waves and the boats head out to sea. There is a small beach at the bottom of the cliff directly in front of the property that my teenage boys loved. The trail is a bit tricky, but short and worth the trek. The shops, restaurants and whale watching station are all easily within walking distance. The property was very clean and well maintained. The master bathroom has an amazing shower. The kitchen does lack in basic seasoning and did not have liquid dish soap or a drain board for dishes that require hand washing. The stove has two burners and what I am assuming is meant to be a sort of indoor grill. This made it slightly difficult to make larger meals but is more than adequate for basic meals. Also, for the light sleepers out there, the noise from the traffic is very audible at night. The property is very close to the main highway. The traffic at night is very light, but the occasional truck passing by did wake me up. My husband and boys did not have a problem with this at all so I'm sure it won't bother everyone. Overall the experience was wonderful. The few problems that we had were quickly taken care of with a text to the property managers. We very much enjoyed our stay and should we ever make it back this way would stay again. highwaythe
