Swan Shores - newly remodeled lakefront home

Cozy and comfortable home for the three of us. Appreciated selection of coffee, tea and snacks provided. Quiet surroundings and very relaxing. Chilly weather and the heat worked great. Only drawback was the inoperable fireplace, but that was not an issue for us. Plan to stay here again the next time we are in Wichita.

The cottage is exactly as described. I was traveling with my 2 senior parents. The space was easily accessible, clean and a terrific location. We would stay again.

We loved it! It was clean and uncluttered and the neighborhood was quiet. We had everything we needed and it was within driving distance of activities, shopping and dining. The lake view was awesome and we enjoyed watching the ducks and a Blue Heron that came by. One suggestion would be to add a mirror in each of the bedrooms, or one in the hallway. There was only 1 mirror in the bathroom for the whole house, which made it a little tougher for us all to get ready. Thank you!!!!

This property was absolutely perfect for our family of four (two adults and two children under 12). The home was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed—the kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook family meals with ease (although we didn't do any cooking, we easily could have). The lake view and backyard are simply stunning, offering a peaceful and private place to relax at the end of the day. We’ve stayed here before, and it’s just as wonderful the second time around.

Beautiful lake view, peaceful. Well stocked with essentials. Great bed (purple deluxe mattress). Beautiful sunsets. Fun fishing, recommend using a bobber and worm.

We enjoyed the house. Lake was beautiful and active. Enjoyed campfire and house was well furnished.

Very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Lake has fish if you enjoy fishing. House was very clean and comfortable. We loved it and will come again.

Stayed three nights visiting friends. Found everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. There were a lot of crickets and spiders in the house. The deck and front porch and windows could you use cleaning. It would have been nice to have chairs on the front porch. The neighborhood was quiet with stores and restaurants close by!

Great views from inside house or on back patio. Very quiet and peaceful. House was clean and very well set up for our stay. Ask host for something and was take care right away. Would stay again and recommend highly!

This is our second visit and both were awesome.

This was such a wonderful weekend getaway for some girl time with my daughter and new daughter in law. From check-in to check-out all went smoothly communicating with our host. The beds were so comfy, the kitchen very well supplied, and the back yard with the big trees and a beautiful small lake with a dock could not be better. We spent an entire afternoon together on that dock. It was hard to believe we were in the middle of Wichita so close to great shopping and restaurants. We had a fabulous time and will definitely be returning!

We had an amazing stay at Swan Shores! Everything is as advertised! The place was very clean and welcoming! The backyard is amazing! We enjoyed fishing, the wildlife and amazing sunsets! We will definitely be back again!

Cute home with beautiful view of lake from back of house and deck. Enjoyed grilling steaks/cooking dinner to host local daughter and friend. Good location!

It was awesome. Everything was perfect, just as it was described. We fished, we cooked and just enjoyed the scenery. We will come back.

This house was absolutely perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children, ages 10 and 8). We were visiting Wichita to see my husband's family, so we did not spend a ton of time at the house, but the property was perfect for what we needed it for. It was very clean, had extra towels and linens, and plenty of shampoo and conditioner. The kitchen was well appointed for the very little we used it for (making coffee in the mornings). We did not do any extensive cooking, but after a quick look around, it seemed the kitchen had the basic necessities. There is a dining table for 4 and a sitting area, tv room, and desk, which was great for me because I had to get some work done while I was there. The property itself was beautiful! The backyard was large with a lovely large tree and lots of room to run around on the grass. My kids loved fishing off the dock with their grandfather. Most importantly (to me, anyways), the beds and pillow were very comfortable. I slept great! We would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect for our first time trip to Wichita to help daughter move. Will definitely stay at this property again when we return to visit! Perfect location, perfectly appointed property - no negatives!
