The home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood in west Wichita near Central and West Street. The area features established homes, mature trees, and a relaxed neighborhood feel while still being close to many conveniences.

Grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping are just a few minutes away. The home is about 10 minutes from Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport and a short drive to downtown Wichita.

Popular local attractions like the Sedgwick County Zoo, parks, and entertainment are also nearby, making this a convenient location for both families and business travelers.


The guests have access to the entire house and yard. There is a garage and shed on the unit that are used for storage. Guests do not have access to these.

This bright and stylish Mid-Century retreat is a fully remodeled 4-bedroom, 2-bath home on a large lot in west Wichita, perfect for families and groups. With colorful mid-century decor, multiple living areas, and plenty of space to gather, the home comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests.

The front door opens to the main living room, a welcoming space with comfortable seating and a 55 Smart TV with streaming options. The open layout connects the living room to the dining area and kitchen, creating a great space for relaxing or spending time together. The kitchen bar seats four, while the dining table provides seating for six.

The fully equipped kitchen features a new electric range, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave, along with cooking essentials, dinnerware, and small appliances including a blender, toaster, and crock pot. A Keurig coffee maker is stocked with a variety of coffee and tea options to start your mornings off right.

The main-level bedrooms are located down the hall. The primary bedroom features a king-size memory foam bed and a 40 Smart TV. The second bedroom offers a comfortable queen bed, while the third bedroom includes twin bunk beds and a desk, perfect for kids or remote work. The main bathroom has been newly remodeled and includes a tub/shower combination with a rainfall shower head.

Downstairs, the finished basement offers even more space to relax. Guests will find a large family room with extra seating and a 65 Smart TV, along with a game table and a selection of board games. The remodeled basement bathroom includes a double vanity and a walk-in shower. The fourth bedroom features a queen bed, twin bunk beds, and a 40 Smart TV.

The basement also includes a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer, along with detergent, dryer sheets, bleach, an iron, and an ironing board for guest use.

Outside, guests can enjoy the large fully fenced backyard. The covered patio includes a spacious outdoor dining table, making it a great place to relax, enjoy meals, or spend time with family and friends.

The home’s unique iron gates and retro touches add to the overall mid-century character of the property.

The house is just several blocks from I-235 which can connect you to any of the areas major highways. It is less than 10 minutes from the Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport, the Segdwick County Zoo, Botanica, the Delano District and Downtown Wichita. Hungry There are countless restaurants within minutes.

• The home includes a finished basement. The stairs leading downstairs are steeper than typical modern homes, which is common for homes built in this era. Guests should use caution when using them.

• The property is located about three houses off Central Avenue, a main street in west Wichita, so occasional traffic noise may be heard outside.

• There is an open lot next to the home, which gives the property a more spacious feel but means one side of the house is not bordered by another home.

• A police station is located less than a mile away, so you may occasionally hear sirens as emergency vehicles pass through the area.

• The home is located in an established working residential neighborhood, typical of many west Wichita communities.

    The house is very cute and spacious. It was easy to find and right off a main road so there was plenty of stuff to do/eat around the house. There was only one downside and that was that half of the house is downstairs. We had two elderly people with us and two people who have knee issues, so trying to figure out who was going to sleep downstairs was an issue.

    This home was very comfy and had a lot of space for my family and I. I loved that she had a kid kitchen and a few toys for my daughter to play with during our stay. We really enjoyed our stay here during an event we were attending in Kansas. I highly recommend this home. Also Alex was very responsive and ensured we had a great stay. 10/10

    We were all ages from 1 to 85- the only down fall was there was no handrail at the front door. The house was more aged than the pictures might lead you to believe but it was a great space for my group- the house had everything you needed and even had baby items- would stay again!

    We stayed here for 2 nights while attending a basketball tournament. The house is located just off a busy street, but quiet neighbor hood. The backyard was definitely a huge win for us, especially our toddler.

    The house was as described with a surprise play area in the basement which was great for our 3 year old grandson. The backyard is really nice. It was clean and well supplied. It is loud in the basement sleeping if someone is in the kitchen, but was not an issue. Host was responsive.

    We needed to find a place in a pinch for my family to stay for a funeral and the choices were dwindling with the dates so close to Christmas. This property came up and it was more than enough room for my wife and our kids small families. We had plenty of room. Believe the other reviews about the floor being creaky but that’s part of the charm. The property manager was very accommodating and filled our request for some supplies in what seemed like minutes. Wish we came during the spring or fall to see everything green and we could have enjoyed the backyard.

    The house was great! Beds were super comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with supplies (except pot holders). Location is very convenient as well. Would definitley stay here again :)

    Host was very helpful, and the house was well stocked with the things we needed. The floor downstairs was a bit cold -being cement, and the host was not lying about the floors squeaking especially loud when you're downstairs, but otherwise our stay was great!

    In town over Labor Day weekend to visit nephew who attends Friends University. Friends is just a short drive away and this was perfect location. Downtown is a must if new to Wichita. House was perfect for my family and me. Property Manager was great. House is smaller than what I pictured in pictures, but we were very pleased with everything. It's an older house but still so cute. We didn't get to spend as much time in back yard as planned but I have no regrets with this rental. Thanks for your hospitality! I would rent again.

    We stayed here for a days for our daughter’s wedding. It was very charming, clean, and worked great for us. The location is super handy near 235 and easy access to Kellogg, lots of places to eat, Walgreens, and Target many places close by. We had a quick question and the owner was fast to respond.     I had classes at the airport in wichita it’s for the week. The house is very close to the airport so the drive was nice. The house was very nice and clean and had plenty of room for everything that I needed. If I have to come back I will definitely stay here again!
