Traveling with my best friend of 40 years to a garden party in Sparta, we hoped to find a comfortable place to rest for the night and enjoy morning coffee with serene views while reminiscing about our families and life in general. This place was perfect. Comfortable, quiet surroundings, and the property was lovely. Our hostess, Dawn was terrific replying to any questions I had.Thank you for a lovely stay.

The house was a perfect country setting . Exactly the quiet time away from noise that I needed . The view from the kitchen was a beautiful overlook of a crystal clear river that could definitely be used to swim in on a hot summer day . Gorgeous property! Would definitely recommend and go back .

Only downside was it turned very cold and snowed and we were not able to use the fireplace. It needed to be cleaned and inspected ( which is understandable) The owner is super nice, communication was excellent.

Home was very clean, nicely decorated, and close to Sparta and Cookeville. Plenty of room for two, and although very cold the night we arrived, the host had the home warm and toasty when we arrived, and it was welcomed. Everything you need and quiet. We had planned to leave a day earlier but after seeing the sights we wanted to explore a little more. Messaged the host through the site and she sent a form for the additional night at the price when rented. Very good communication with the host. Beautiful home and area. This house was located conveniently to many of the parks with waterfalls! We loved how quiet it was out at the property. It was so peaceful having our coffee either on the front porch rocking chairs or on the back porch overlooking the creek. We couldn't have asked for a more peaceful place to stay. The house, kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were all very clean! Communication from the hosts was very fast and they were very easy to communicate with.. We didn't have any issues at all and enjoyed our stay immensely!

2nd time at this wonderful place. Dawn, the host was amazing. We were thrilled to get the confirmation. Redbud Acres is a delightful place that really does allow you to experience the local natural history and scenery. The facility is equipped well and the deck, overlooking Cherry Creek, is a wonderful place to have an afternoon beverage and truly relax. If I am in the vicinity, I am staying again.

My wife & I came to Dawn’s house on the creek to enjoy several days of waterfall hiking. Everything about the house and interactions with the hostess were perfect. The house is clean, roomy, comfortable and stocked with many little extras that we felt were very considerate on the part of the hostess. The front & back porches are great for sitting, sipping and just enjoying the outside air and views of nature(large trees, huge front yard, animals, birds, and the beautiful cold and crystal clear creek, including the two small waterfalls up stream on the property. The house is the perfect location if you’re considering going on waterfall hikes. Many waterfalls 15-20 minutes away and so many more 30-45 minutes. Travel is super easy getting around and very little traffic. This area is one of the most beautiful and unique places in this country with the gorgeous gorges and abundant waterfalls, so many great swimming holes and beautiful friendly people all over.

A wonderful place to stay, central to all the parks, and a short drive to the distilleries. A fully stocked kitchen. Clean, bright. Plenty of pillows, extra blankets, towels and wash cloths. Great porch overlooking a stream to have morning coffee or nighttime drinks. We all agreed we would definitely go back. The hostess is easy to contact and very responsive.

We picked this property because of the location and what we wanted to do while we were there. We were close to all the State Parks and waterfalls we visited. It was a clean, comfortable and accommodating. We enjoyed hanging out on the back porch for morning coffee and again for evening beverages. Such a peaceful and private setting that made our vacation a true getaway. Communications with Dawn before and during our stay was excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone wishing to visit the area. You won’t be disappointed.

Dawn's propert wa ssituatedat the top of a small slope, adjacent to the floodplain trees and overlooking beautiful Cherry Creek. A pastoral ambiance of lightly used hay fields along the entrance drive really provided a wonderful introduction. The porches, front and back, with rocking chairs and couches, made a wonderful plqce to have coffee or evening beverage and truly relax. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay spending time with more than 33 species of birds, river otter, woodchucks and beaver. The facilities were more than we could have hoped for. Thanks, Dawn, for providing such a great place for out Tennesse time!

I came here with a friend for a week to enjoy all the local parks and waterfalls, and this was a wonderful home base. The house is well kept, plenty of amenities, and Dawn was very helpful and kind. The property is fairly quiet, and the back porch is great for enjoying the evenings. There is also a fire pit with wood provided. The area around the creek was a bit overgrown (and don't even try to get to the waterfall unless you aren't allergic to poison ivy and don't mind getting wet...I tried), but it is still nice to see from up on the porch. The only downside I would give is that the 2nd bathroom is quite small, and the toilet is way too close to the sink, but overall, it did not affect our enjoyment of the trip. I would absolutely stay here again, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place to escape. Thanks again to the owner for all the useful information!

Every one of us, ages 71, 69, 13, & 8 absolutely loved this place & the 13 year old asked if we could go again sometime, as we pulled away to head home. The house is roomy with a well set up kitchen. The setting is perfect for folks who like to get away from it all, & the creek directly behind the house, along with small waterfalls on the property, are absolutely icing on the cake.
