Beautiful decks and home. We lost gps and had a hard time the last 100 yards. Bath tub didn’t drain. Should have been informed someone lives below.
Terrific property on top of a Hill amidst trees with beautiful views.
Wonderful peaceful getaway. Host was extra responsive to any questions we had. House was clean and we saw deer in the yard. Lovely location not far from amenities but very secluded and perfect getaway for our family while in town for a wedding.
My family (my husband and I and 3 adult children) stayed at Hideaway Hills for 3 nights while in town for my niece's wedding. The house is gorgeous. Plenty of room - a fully stocked kitchen, a dining room, two living rooms and 2 1/2 baths. There's a a washing machine and dryer right off the kitchen. All of the bedrooms are large and comfortable. The master bath has a sunken garden tub. Really lovely! The house was spotlessly clean - I mean immaculate! There is an enormous wrap around deck, with views of the woods from every corner. This house is very isolated and off the beaten path. It is at the very end of a long road, and there are no other houses in sight of the property. We loved it, but someone not used to the woods might be little overwhelmed. The road and the driveway are unpaved, but we had no problems. All in all, this was the perfect place for us - so quiet at night! I had some issues with my VRBO account (my fault entirely), and Lynne, the owner, could not have been sweeter or more helpful, I would highly recommend a stay at Hideaway Hill!!
Peaceful , thankful for air conditioning! It was nice to have access to the washer and dryer .
Spend 1 week with family in this secluded home and had an enjoyable time. Everything was as advertised. Except for the porch that had a lot of dry leaves
The house was perfectly outfitted in a wonderful location. We really enjoyed our stay.
Our group of 4 ladies thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I made the arrangements without a glitch. Owner is personable and accommodating. Rules and requests were clear and information about everything in the surrounding area was amazing! The house is lovely and has a unique and interesting floor plan ... all the rooms were spacious.
Great get together for a group of cousins!
Easy, convenient, quiet
The house and grounds were lovely and accommodated six adults comfortably. We had a great time exploring nearby wineries. Checkout was the only issue. Most things were standard, but I have rented lots of different types of rental properties and never had the experience of having to have all dishes washed and put away before leaving.
The home is beautiful and well kept, nicely tucked away in the woods. We loved seeing that there was a collection of recipes that seem to be from precious guests! Thank you so much for hosting!
We enjoyed our stay. Check-in was easy, the place was clean and well-kept, and it was off the beaten path without being too remote. Would consider staying here again in the future.
Had a relaxing and meaningful stay at this property. Very quiet and comfortable.
Very pretty spot, home as advertised.
Check in/out was awesome. The home is clean and beautiful, very quiet and peaceful. A short trip into town either way. The owner was very easy to communicate with. My group rated it a 10/10
The house is lovely. It is well equipped and has 3 large bedrooms. It even has some toys for little kiddos. We were there during hurricane Ian. The maid stopped by and brought us flashlights and candles in case we lost power. That was so considerate. I recommend this beautiful home for a relaxing weekend.
Beautiful doesn’t begin to describe this place! Perfection in every detail. Loved the artwork…is Lane the artist? Morning coffee on the porch and no TV. Yay! We only wished that we could have stayed longer.
Everything was exactly what we were looking for as we passed through the area. Great rental.
We had an excellent stay at Hilltop Hideaway. The house was spotless, the beds comfortable, and the showers hot. The wrap around porch was the best though- great for quiet mornings shopping coffee, eating dinner at twilight, and looking at the stars in the evening.
This home took my breath away. It was absolutely beautiful and it was the quiet getaway just like it was advertised. The check-in process was smooth and the owner very responsive. The location is great to many wineries, breweries and hiking trails. I highly recommend this home and would rebook it without any hesitation!
We had such a lovely time at the Hideaway. We even spoke about making it a tradition. We enjoyed the winery, Mediterranean Cellars....and had delicious mexican food in Warrenton. The house was beautiful. All the beds slept well. It was quiet and peaceful. Side note for Lane: I'm a high school art teacher, I loved the art in the home!! Your wife is such a fantastic artist!! Her pieces inspired great conversations. We were trying to figure out her entire life story through her art! I think the art was my favorite part of the house!!!
Wonderful, setting was beautiful I lived in this type of setting and my children were born and raised in this type of setting only more remote! Quests need to know to bring food and extra towels if they want. Shopping and restaurants are a bit of a hike! On checking out would you like the garbage taken out to the parking area? We did. Should we have stripped the beds? We didn’t. We loved the place. It was perfect for us!
We all had a great time at the Hilltop Hideaway! It is a cozy place to hang with friends and spacious enough when you need some room. I would highly recommend it.
