Another wonderful stay at Surfrider!

We had a great stay! The house was very clean and cozy. Lot's of supplies in the kitchen - we cooked most meals there. Loved the proximity to the beach!

Very clean and comfortable. Lots of comfortable seating in the living area and master bedroom king bed was firm and we slept well. Kitchen was quite modern and well equipped, although coffee maker is drip only. Didn't bother us but lots of people like the Keurig. Very dog friendly, including dog dishes and throws. About 50yds from the beach, though the dunes block the view from the house to the ocean. The back gate was inoperable, but access to the beach was available just a few yards in any direction. The private area on the side of the house was great for the dog; we'd have enjoyed the fire pit had it not been a bit too rainy. Master bath tub/shower looked inviting but we couldn't use it because it lacked grab bars (we're elderly and not too stable), so we were glad to have the shower in the 2nd bath. Wifi could have been faster -- OK for most things (about 20mb/s) but problematic for streaming.

The home was very well appointed and the location was awesome. Enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying again.

Surfrider is a lovely, comfy home. The kitchen is well stocked, the furniture is comfortable, great outdoor spaces and fenced in area for a pet. A heads up to seniors renting the home: low toilets and slippery tub shower (no handles). There is a stall shower in laundry room. The cleaning woman and maintenance man were very helpful and went out of their way to help. The sand dunes and beach grass are in the way of the view which can’t be helped so there is no view of the ocean.

The weather couldn’t have been worse, our host was very responsive, unfortunately she wasn’t able to do much, we had NO power for 3/4’s of our stay to include no heat or hot water. WE MADE IT! Thank goodness for the wood fireplace, we had to buy 50 worth of wood, but we kept warm AND a charcoal BBQ in the garage, we were able to cook….again we had to buy charcoal….but AGAIN we made it. It was a great adventure.

We’ve stayed at Surfrider for the past 3 Thanksgivings and it’s always perfect. Everything is well taken care of and well stocked for an extended stay. Just steps from the beach, our pup couldn’t wait to hit the sand. Highly recommend!

Surfrider was a lovely experience. The bedrooms were quite comfortable and everyone found their bed to be delightful. The main room was comfortable and made it easy to gather with friends. The kitchen / dining area was also spacious and accommodating. Most importantly, beach access and views were fantastic!

Dune was lovely, can see the ocean if you’re standing in the house, has everything you need just bring your food/coffee, and tea, and clothes and toothbrush/floss. Walk to the beach over the dune is somewhat difficult at 65 to 70 years old. Very peaceful vacation enjoyed the fireplace inside and out side. The small town was nice for shopping and eating out. We even had a bobcat come by on the neighbors porch, and had a wonderful show from the bats.

Fantastic location. Easy walk to beach and town. Limited openings at restaurants due to off season. Nearby hiking. Our second stay. Plenty of room for 4 adults or 3 couples.

Very comfortable stay. The high dunes and sea grass obstruct any view of the ocean. Beach access is over the dunes with several access points along the street besides access from the property. A herb of elk visited the property!

We had a great stay at this property. Loved the beachfront location. Recently remodeled interior that was clean and comfortable for our family of 4, a dog and a grandparent. Not a ton of space so I wouldn’t recommend it for larger crews but it worked great for our size party. It’s always great to find nice dog-friendly properties that even the dog-grumpy folks enjoy.

Beautiful property, super quiet and private setting with easy walk to the sand. All amenities, beautiful and plenty of dishes, paper products, ziplocks, plush towels, comfy pillows, mattresses, and blankets. Super easy to communicate with owner, flexible with our requests, helpful property management when our rental car battery wouldn’t start. Very impressed with owner and those managing the property. Super friendly neighbors, easy walk to restaurants and bakeries. Will more than likely stay here again!

Overall a good experience for our family. The check-in was easy, the property manager was responsive, the place was tidy, pet friendly, with a well equipped kitchen. It was also a short walk to the center of town.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic!!! This was our 4th time renting and looking already for next year.

Really cute, clean and spacious beach house! Loved the open concept and round dining table for games and eating. All the couches and beds were super compfy! We appreciated all the doggo touches. The views were amazing and it was nice to be able to walk to beach and downtown.

Right above the beach with easy beach access. Nice floor plan. Clean, bright, and airy.

Beautiful location in Manzanita. Short walk to the restaurants and shops in town. There is also a nice park close to the house with a playground, sand volleyball court, tennis court and a pickleball court. For a home that allows up to two dogs, it was immaculately cleaned. Very impressed there were blankets provided for dogs to use.

Property very clean with all of the necessities for cooking, showering, etc. TV has all the channels one would want. Access to the beach is great as long as you do not have some walking issues. There is a steep final descent to the beach. The high sand dunes prevent most of the ocean view. Overall, however, it was great.

Great home. Beautifully redone. Very comfortable and clean. Well stocked with just about everything you’d need. Quiet location, nice and peaceful. Feels like you’re the only house on the block. Good beach access.

We highly recommend staying at this house. Heads up that it has a charcoal barbecue so you will need charcoal and lighter as it is not provided. Also there is no wood for the fireplace provided either.

We had lovely family time with our adult kids and doggies! This place was perfect with a relaxing main room and easy access to the beach! We could not be happier!

The house was clean, well cared for and modern. The location is ideal- just a short walk over the dunes and you’re on the beach. If you’re looking for the perfect beach house- look no further, this is it!

Great property right on the beach. Tucked away on a quiet road, private, and close to town. This house has everything you need to be comfortable and disconnect. We can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful location for a peaceful and enjoyable few days for myself, daughter and granddaughter. Very quiet and love the easy access through the dunes to the ocean. The house has been remodeled nicely with plenty of space to spread out. Sitting on the porch watching my granddaughter play in the sand was perfect! The courtyard was better than the photos and a pleasant place to enjoy relaxing. All good things said, one of the beds was very hard, and the house needs a deep cleaning. There was white dog hair fluff on the floor and furniture, in the washer, as well as sand in many places that should have been cleaned prior to our arrival. Additionally, lots of surfaces, window ledges, blinds, floorboards, corners, needing to be wiped to remove the accumulated dust from more than one guest. If it were cleaner, 5 stars would be easy.

Beautiful, clean property. Had everything we needed. Clear instructions and labeling on lights, shower, etc. our only glitch was trying to figure out whether the fireplace flue (sp?) was open or not. Highly recommend this place.

This is our second time staying at this property and it is perfect when you’re traveling with dogs. Beach access is easy, and the house is comfortable and clean and the fenced yard is a lifesaver!!

Generally a good experience and the unit was perfectly located, beds were comfortable, living area and kitchen were good etc. Wives and women in group did not think cleanliness was up to par. Lots of dirt and hair on floors when we moved furniture to accommodate what we needed, indicating a lack of deep cleaning

This is a very comfortable, well-appointed house with easy access to the beach and downtown Manzanita. We would recommend it to family and friends.

First time in manzanilla and the place did not disappoint. Very clean all of the amenities you needed it. Well stopped kitchen.
