Reviewer Comments: We stayed at the Surfer Girl house in Beachwalk and really appreciated the beautiful design and spacious layout, which worked perfectly for our large group. The many bedrooms with comfortable beds and bedding were a big plus, and the large dining table was a favorite spot for shared meals and games. The natural light from the many windows was lovely, and we loved the location—just far enough from the main pool and activity areas to be peaceful, but still walkable to everything.That said, the home wasn’t maintained as well as we would have expected. The kitchen was a bit small and lacked some essentials—there were plenty of plates, silverware, and glasses, but only two food serving bowls and the pans were old and in poor condition (we had to line them to use them). The freezer was broken upon arrival, and while the owners were aware, it made food storage difficult during our stay.We also noticed several maintenance issues: the toilet paper holder was off the wall, the floors were dirty, the screen on the patio door was broken, there were no bathroom rugs, and the curtain & towel fixtures on the 3rd floor were barely attached.Despite these issues, the overall space is amazing and we still had a great time. We love Beachwalk—this was our second stay and we definitely plan to return. With some attention to maintenance and kitchen updates, this house could easily be a five-star stay.

The kids/teenagers loved having their own space in the basement while the rest of us enjoyed our own space in our beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms. There were all the amenities you need. My family absolutely loves Beachwalk as we have stayed here a few times but every time we go, it is so difficult to find anywhere to eat with a large group or get carry out or delivery. But at the end of day, having to stay in at Surfer Girl at hang out and cook was not too shabby. We loved the screened in porch and firepit. The 3rd floor bedrooms and bathroom are absolutely amazing.

It looks just like the pictures and has plenty of space (including a large dining table) to comfortably fit a big group. The screened-in back porch was a major hit!The location is a bit secluded, but with the golf cart, it's very easy to get to the beach, pool, activities. It's also walkable. The few cons we experienced were--it was certainly clean when we arrived, but not spotless. There are absolutely no toiletries, which seems a little odd for a house of this size. The freezer was acting up, but the staff was responsive. Overall, a gorgeous home with a few litle quirks.

Clean, Lovely decor, great appliances, a nice screened in porch, but short on outdoor space. It is right next to the park, but a distance from the pool and beach. It does have a golf cart, which was most appreciated. Our large family could have used another refrigerator and ice maker.

There is no water source outside to rinse off the sand from the beach. Parking was a nightmare. Only space for 2 vehicles and the overflow parking lot was usually full. TV is limited to the APPS already installed. There is a grill, picnic table, and benches outside, but the space is tight. The screened porch is great for sitting around and talking.

There was plenty for the kids to do, especially liked being close to the playground. The golf cart was necessary to get around to the other parts of the community. Two bedrooms were missing blinds which did cause an issue for sleeping but we knew they were still updating this house so hopefully blinds will be added in the future. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Surfer Girl and hope to be back next year!
