Family Beach Get Away in Beachwalk steps from Lake Michigan!

Such a great house!

Beautiful home hosted two families- one with 7 kids, the other with 6. All had a great time by day in Lake Michigan and by evening in the house.

This was a fabulous place! The kitchen facilities were great. It had everything we could’ve asked for. The 2 beverage coolers were a plus. We had a group of 14 including children ages 18 months to 10 years old and it fit us beautifully. The kids loved the upstairs bunk room with all the single beds. There were plenty of bathrooms for all. The outdoor shower was great for rinsing off the kids after coming back from the sandy beach. The outdoor spaces allowed the kids to play and the parents to sit and chat. Parking was OK we were able to fit 4 SUVs.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Family Tides beach house in Michigan City! It was enough room for all of us to stay and sleep comfortably. Great amenities and amazingly close location to the beach. We loved being able to go do things but also have down time and time with our group catching up. Colleen was an amazing host and quick to respond and incredibly helpful! We all have talked about staying here again with other friends or bringing out families on a family trip as well. Absolutely wonderful!

The house was a great location and very well equipped. Easy check in and plenty of parking for our large group. Everyone in our group remarked how nice the property was when they walked in.

Our Michigan family vacation was amazing and had a lot to do with the Family Tides beach house we stayed at. The capacity easily handled 16 people. The convenience of the 3 minute walk to the beach along with the pool, kayaking, paddle boarding, paddle boats, tennis and basketball courts was appreciated and totally utilized by all. Our host Colleen was so attentive and responsive which only added to the wonderful experience. We hope to be back soon!!!

This year we decided to look into something outside of our typical head to FL for vacation. Somewhere to beat the summer heat, enjoy a beach during the day, roasting marshmallows at night wearing a light jacket. Most important we needed comfortable accommodations to fit our blessed brood of 21. This place hit all of our hot buttons ! Located within a quaint resort, a short walk to the beach and to the resort pool. After a week of memories all decided this house is a definite repeat in our books ! Thank you !

We had 4 families- 15 people stay at the house from all over the country. From the search process to check out Colleen was so wonderful to work with. I have stayed at many rental properties and she was by far the most responsive and even seemed very happy to answer all of my questions. There was plenty of room in the house for everyone to move around. There was a small situation that required the assistance of a maintenance person and Colleen was quick to respond to my request and he came out the next day. We spent a few hours one day kayaking, paddle boarding and peddle boating. Trips to get coffee and ice cream from the ice cream shop were daily. My son lost his AirPod there and Colleen found it immediately and mailed it back to me. You will not regret booking this property.

Could not have been any closer to the beach - amazing! Perfect for our family of 16 that includes 3 generations. So close to everything, we honestly didn’t even need the golf cart we rented. Colleen was awesome to work with - responded immediately and helped us navigate a few small issues. Would definitely stay again!

Great communication with the owner from beginning till the end. We’re grateful this beautiful, cozy home had everything we needed and more. Our family plans to return.
