Stayed Jul 6, 2025Wonderful family get away to Del Mar. Very comfortable accommodations, clean, most everything worked well: some aging screen doors were a bit annoying. One bedroom has a very squeaky ceiling fan. Our family is fun/flexible and worked around these small details. Enjoyed some good dining out also.

Stayed May 23, 2024This house is in a great location. Close to the beach and restaurants are a reasonable walk away. House has a beachy casual feel. The remodel is pretty dated, but clean and functional. Don't expect fancy accommodations, but the location is great and it is clean. If you want to use the TV, you probably need these instructions that they don't provide: When you turn on the TV, it will be in TV mode with some default Samsung TV channel selected. The Samsung remote is not available and the Roku remote can't change the channel or source. It can only turn the TV on/off. In order to switch to the HDMI mode for Roku, there is a single button on the bottom center of the TV. When you push the button once it will give you a menu. You can press it quickly to change the menu option and then press and HOLD to select the option. You will need to change the source in this manner. Once you change the source successfully, you will see the Roku menu and then the Roku remote will work as expected. Unfortunately you need to do this every time you turn the TV on. I don't think the manager understood this, since there are no instructions and she seemed annoyed that we were texting her to ask how to use the TV. In any case, it was fairly easy, although unusual, once we figured it out. Then again you are at the beach, so you may not want to use it :)
