Host was great and the place was very well maintained. We had a fairly large group of people and it housed all of us comfortably.

Host was very welcoming. We werent able to ski because of the cold, but the host gave us a bunch of ideas on things to do in the area, so we were able to make the most of our trip. The sauna was a great.

This was our second time staying at Loretta’s Lodge and it was a great place to spend time. The hosts communicated well and the house was very clean. Unfortunately, there was a lack of toilet paper (no extra rolls) and an absence of bedding for both pull out sofa beds. It is very convenient to be able to park in the garage out of the elements.

Host was very welcoming and quick response times with questions. Sauna was excellent, bonfire area was nice. The view was spectacular.

We had a really wonderful stay at Loretta’s Lodge! The setting was stunning, and the space was perfect for our group of six adults and five children! Clark and Emily were extremely responsive hosts and helped us when an issue arose. The house is very well appointed and the firepit was especially lovely for our group. Easy drive to Grand Marais and amenities available nearby in Lutsen too.

Had a very enjoyable time with family. Lots of space, great games for entertainment.

Perfect spot for our group of 12. House was very nice & the view is lovely. Great location for access to the Superior Hiking Trail. Check in & communication with the owner/property manager was easy & they were very responsive. Would definitely stay again.

Well stocked, clean, great views, fun game room, and nice hosts to work with. Awesome to have garage to use as we got 8 inches of snow during our weekend stay.

Awesome spot - plenty of room for everyone, the sauna was amazing and the property manager was prompt at communication and very attentive.

Stayed here for a ski trip at Lutsen. Very close by so it made for an easy drive to the mountains and back. Bed(s) layout was great for 5 couples as we could each have our own private space. Unfortunately, we could never get the sauna to work despite connecting with the host, following instructions, and watching many YouTube videos. Didn’t damper our trip, but was one of the many reasons we chose this place.

This is an amazing property that sits close to a Lutsen and within driving distance of Grand Marais (30 mins). It's the perfect getaway for a family and Emily/Clarke couldn't have been more welcoming. It is important to highlight that the place does not have AC (Which is called out in the listing). This can make for some very warm days, so be prepared for that if you are traveling in the summer.

We’ve be visiting The North Shore for many years. This property exceeded our expectations and Emily was a great host. We will definitely return to Loretta’s Lodge in the future.

This cabin/home is top notch. Beautifully decorated, clean, spacious, and loaded with amenities. Perfect place to for a family to hang out and get away from the noise.
