Superb Three Acre Mountain View Home for Reunions/Families

Amazing!!! The cabin and area was beautiful! Well kept and peaceful. Our family had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend and return!!

Excellent communication and super helpful with our needs. The house was great, comfortable and clean. Everything you need for your get away in the mountains!

We enjoyed our stay, had a fantastic time

This house has the potential to be a really nice place to stay. It's situated among the pine trees, has a nice upper and lower deck outside, it has a nice kitchen that is open to the living area, so that level is a nice hangout area.The house claims to have wifi but it was unreliable to say the least. For about a day and a half of our trip we had absolutely no possible internet connection at the house since cell service was not available and the wifi was not functional. Once wifi worked, it was very slow and could only be used for the most basic things. No music streaming, etc.The worst part of the house was the strong gasoline odor downstairs. We contacted the property manager and she just suggested we try to air out the downstairs. All week we did that and as soon as you close the windows the smell was just as strong as it was the first day. That level was just uninhabitable because of that. Fortunately for us we were able to make do without the bedroom down there and just avoided it as much as possible.The bed linens need to be replaced. We started off sleeping in the queen bed on the middle level but my wife smelled urine and so we had to move to the smaller bed in the other bedroom on that level (since the downstairs was unusable).The property manager shrugged off our complaints and the owner was not reachable by phone during our stay. I messaged the owner on VRBO afterwards to communicate all of this and I have been ignored, so I'm warning others here.

This cabin was a nice place to stay. I am glad we had a Jeep with 4x4. Be aware if it rains a lot, you should have 4x4, it is on a very long dirt/gravel road and back in the trees. Other than that, it was a very neat location and really comfortable. We would definitely go back!

We chose this property because it was close to a friend’s house where we were celebrating a birthday. The location was great for us: we loved walking at Manitou Lake and the trip into Woodland Park was easy. The house has lovely views into the surrounding forest and is very private.

Nice property, secluded, saw a lot of turkeys. Snowed several inches during our stay.

Our group of five, gathers to visit, catch up and play cards over a long weekend. WPR has the space and comfort that makes this a perfect place for our gatherings.

Our trip to the Woodland Park retreat was amazing. Perfect getaway for my little family of four! To be honest I picked this cabin based off the pictures & reviews, but let me tell you, the pictures do not do this place justice. It’s even more beautiful in person. The playground was a great addition since we have two little boys who like to get out their energy. Overall we loved our stay and are already planning our next trip back!

The home was beautiful, clean, and very well stocked. The beds in the main floor were soooo comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and the massage bed. The kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked. The location was great - so quiet and peaceful! The only negative we have was the driveway and the directions. There were huge ruts in the road and driveway. An SUV was definitely required. We arrived in the middle of the night and it was dark and we couldn’t find the driveway and didn’t have phone service. An update to the directions (take the first right) and a light on the address sign would help. The WiFi could also be improved. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Woodland Park Retreat. The host was amazing to work with. Check in and check out process was very easy. The home is beautiful and well stocked. Peaceful location with stunning views. While still close to attractions like pikes peak and garden of the gods. We enjoyed the wildlife and got to see wild Turkey, a fox and plenty of deer. Highly recommend this home for your next Colorado vacation.

Fun mountain adventure, tucked away, yet close enough to amenities. Worked perfectly for our family. Be prepared for stairs inside, or outside on deck to access main living level, and intermittent wifi. Appreciated the well stocked kitchen. This home helped make our stay great!
