Super Stylish and Comfy Bungalow, Near Uptown!

When reaching out to explain the situation of needing a place to stay for an extended period of time due to hurricane Ian the host was originally planning on letting us stay but etoooed responding before I could complete the booking until she decided to respond 2 week later. Desperate for a place to stay we accepted the later offer. The house was not very clean, had hand marks on the walls, the couches and rugs were dirty and smelled awful. The sheets and mattress toppers were stained. I had to go buy new ones to use. And knowing we needed to stay for an extended period of time she neglected to inform us that there was no washer/dryer on site. The dogs next door barked constantly. The windows didn’t close all the way and some of them weren’t even able to lock. There were bugs found throughout the house as well. There is only one tv in the house in the living room, and I had to go buy my own cleaning supply’s to clean the house on top of laying to do laundry at a laundry mat for 3.5months. After we finally checked out she charges me for damages to property and then stops responding after we did a full run trough and the place only looked better and smelled better after our stay. I think she was only taking advantage of the situation and taking advantage of the insurance coverage paying for the majority of the stay.

The house location was perfect! But the house didn’t have tv’s in each room. The comforters on the bed was dirty. Need more than one bathroom for the amount of guests they accept! The kitchen needed more cookware. Needed more work to become a perfect stay away from home!

The house was as described. Minimalist but very clean. Comfortable beds. Convenient location.

We love this place, it was I the perfect location for all the activities that we plan.

This was a cozy comfortable home away from home for the weekend. The description and pictures are exact. The location is great. Close to Freedoms Park and uptown. The original property I booked wasn’t available so Mira recommend this property. I received all of the information I needed from the host prior to leaving for my trip. There were no issues and I would definitely book this property again.

Great house in a great location. Everything was spotless. The house is decorated stylishly. Even better, it actually feels like a home. Beds, pillows, couches were all super comfy. Mira is a sweetheart! She's everything you could want in a host. She respected our privacy & wasn't the least bit intrusive, yet it was obvious she truly cared about our stay & was readily available if we needed anything. Thanks again to Mira for a great stay!

The place was clean, lovely and looked just like the pictures! Also, we had the pleasure of staying at two of her properties and the other was also clean and lovely. She helped me book this place last minute which really helped us because we had to suddenly leave a different vrbo owned by someone else which was very filthy. Moving to this property instead was such a relief. She was very fast in communication for our whole stay. I even left my pillow by accident and she was able to not only let me know, but went the extra mile to bring it to me since I wasn't far. I definitely recommend this place and any of her other properties.

My mother, sister, and I were very excited to spend a weekend together in Charlotte. When we arrived at the house, it was extremely clean and the inside of the house looked exactly as it did in the photos; however, several incidents forced us to vacate the property after only spending one of three nights there. It was difficult for us to sleep because dogs were barking at all hours of the night in addition to the neighbors talking loudly outside until late into the evening. On the morning of the second day, an unidentified man came onto the property and began to aggressively bang on the door and would not leave for a considerable amount of time. We feared for our safety and decided to vacate the property immediately. I reached out to the property owner telling her of our situation. She did not respond until 24 hours later and failed to believe that a man came onto the property, even though she has a security camera on the front porch. She was only willing to refund one night since I did not give her enough notice. I'm not sure how I was supposed to predict that someone would come onto the property and threaten our sense of security and well-being. Prior to writing this review, I have tried to resolve the issue with her with no success. I hope others find this review informative and take caution when booking this property.
