Beautiful property and well fitted out cottage. Enjoyed dinner every night on the lovely deck with water view. Handy bbq. Children enjoyed the toys and stuffed animals, while adults enjoyed the pool table and darts. We enjoyed campfires down by the water.

This property fostered many beautiful memories for my family on our weekend retreat. We unfortunately weren't able to hike during this stay but still were able to enjoy all the adorable amenities of Wiarton and Lion's Head. We spent one day exploring the shops in Wiarton and enjoying dinner at the Green Door and then an evening of board games and pool! The next day we fished Sky Lake (catching 2 large bass, 2 pike, and a sunfish to boot) and spent the afternoon on the shores of Georgian Bay. The beautiful kitchen allowed us to cook our own meals and enjoy them at the large kitchen table or patio! Will be counting down the days until we can stay again.

Lovely location about 30 minutes from Sauble Beach and a bit less than an hour from the Grotto and Tobermory. About 20 minutes from Lion’s Head. Cottage is spacious. Fit our family of 9 adults and one baby easily in its four bedrooms. It was very warm (30 or more) when we arrived so quite warm in house. The many fans helped but still warm until sunset and temperature dropped. It was quite comfortable when day time temperature dropped to a more normal 24 on day 2 and 3.Kitchen is well equipped with appliances and pots and pans. Very nice and very clean BBQ on the large back deck. Nice view from back deck. Some mosquitoes but not enough to prevent pleasurably using the deck. We had dinner on deck the first night of our stay. Lovely flower gardens around the property.Decent pool table in the basement was a bonus. Well equipped laundry room. Lots of toys that our 2 year old granddaughter to enjoy.Wonderful Sunset over Lake Huron is an 8 to 10 minute walk away. Diner and small general store within 10 minutes of cottage. All in all a very nice large cottage for the money for a family or group of friends to stay at while enjoying all that The Bruce Peninsula has to offer.

We are a family of 10 ( my family do 4, my sisters family of 4 amd my parents) amd our 4 year old bernadoodle had an amazing stay at this cottage. The house came equipped with everything you need and was located in an area where we were also able to enjoy nearby towns like Wiarton and Lion’s Head! Lots to do in the area. The host shared excellent instructions before getting to cottage thus, check-iin, check-out etc. was very easy. A spacious, beauty home and we are grateful to have made new memories!

Disappointing. Minimal supplies (no toilet paper for example). No nice touches at all to make you feel welcomed No chairs to take down to the water. Was sufficient but we won't be back.

This home was the perfect base for our family of 8 (6 children ranging in age from 2-17) to explore Bruce Pennisula. We enjoyed the peaceful, calm waters at the property as well as the shore and waves at the end of Julian Dr. We hiked Lions Head and within the Bruce National Park, and took a boat tour out of Tobermory, all easy drives from the house. There were plenty of beds for everyone. The littles enjoyed the toy selection. I was happy to have brought ample snacks, meals, and drinks so we didn’t have to interrupt the fun to find a store. Being rural was part of the appeal! Thank you for a memorable family vacation!!

A very comfortable stay with lots of space for everyone- very clean and tidy. Kitchen was well equipped with everything that was needed, so we didn’t have to worry about anything. Beautiful gardens, refreshing air, excellent view of the lake to enjoy from the outside deck.

The home was beautiful with plenty of space for 5 -person family. Home is very open with large windows for plenty of natural light. Pool table on the lower level was enjoyed by all of us. Also lots of movies to choose from on the hard-drive connected to the TV. Lovely view from the deck and a small private lakedront, although very rocky so probably wouldn't be ideal for toddlers. Not a criticism but home is located at least 30mins from any tourist attractions (e.g. Lions Head or Sauble beach) but as long as you're aware of that you'll have a great time here. Mosquitoes were a nuisance at the front of the house but they didn't bother us on the deck. Fortunately, Canadian mosquitoes are larger/slower than mosquitoes in the southern U.S. where we're from so easier to shoo away/escape from before they bite you. Communication with owner before/during stay was excellent. Recommendations for owner: would have been good to have bath mats; A few more mugs and drinking glasses; we were disappointed that the board games mentioned in the description were not there so it would be a good idea to either add some board games back or removed that from the description.

This cottage was as described. 4 spacious bedrooms with lots of room. Beach is rocky so bring water shoes. There is a great spot that I found at the end of Julian Rd that has a flat rock beach that’s tons of fun! Caves, parks and trails are all within a 20-30 minute drive. Tobermory is super close as well. Great property. Very happy we chose this place.

Wonderful house right on the lake. Here you can enjoy nature! All amenities are available in the house. The living room is very nice with a very high ceiling. My children loved that there were lots of toys. The older ones liked the pool table. The location of the house is also good. Many beaches and trails are easy to reach by car.
