The hosts were very responsive and helpful, even offering to provide local recommendations. I’ve been renting summer vacays in Mission for years & this one is worth coming back to. Thanks.

We had an incredibly good time. The beach is steps away, all of the beach equipment that you would want, and a great kitchen and house.

We had a lovely stay for my daughter’s graduation from SDSU. Just happened that this house was two blocks away from her house, which kept things very simple for the rest of us. Ginny is a great host. Her house is lovely and communication was very good. Would definitely recommend the property.

The proximity to the beach and the location on the quieter end of Mission Beach was amazing. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bathrooms were updated and clean. The outdoor patio could use some TLC, and the indoor furniture could use a refresh for comfort, especially the upstairs bed, but overall the house was great. We would love it if the patio had a high-top table or a couple of tall chairs so you could enjoy the ocean view without having to go to the upstairs balcony. Having a view from the patio while grilling and eating outside would be wonderful. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Really fun spot to be on the beach.

Stayed for a week for my son's spring break. Great property close to the beach! Parking was a challenge but knew it going in. Great communication with the owner throughout!

This property is where you want to stay!! So close to everything you ever want to do. House was clean, has all of the amenities! We will be back!

We had a very nice stay. It was also no problem to arrive earlier. It is a very nice cottage on the beach and very clean. There were plenty of towels etc. We felt completely at ease. Gladly again !

Super great location , enjoyed the taco stand on the block and the variety of fun and restaurants at Belmont Park. Parking was tight for a Tesla Model X, and crawling thru the back was needed, but that was OK (we expected it)

Staying here was what my family And I needed. We stayed here for Labor Day weekend. The check-in process was easy. The house was very clean. The parking was tight which we were told ahead of time but our 2018 Honda Odyssey did fit. This cozy house was just steps from the beach. And being lobar day weekend this part of the beach was not as overly packed like it was down a bit further from the beach.It’s also just steps away from a food market, restaurants and shops. We will be back for sure. Thank you for making everything easy for us during our stay.

Loved this house. It gave us the space we needed and was very close to the beach. We have a Toyota highlander with a Thule on top. Parking was tight but not impossible. I slept on the sofa couch with my infant nearby and thought it was very comfortable. I do think it is important to note that the owner lives above the home. While some might find this to be a comfort, we found it to be intrusive and never quite felt like we weren’t being watched.

The home was not very clean upon entering even though a cleaning person was there when we arrived. I was charged an extra $100 for not washing some beach towels and was told that was sent to me in an email. I can provide the email that portion is cut off and I was unaware of that. I was also told there were spots on the couch which we would like to see because we had no accidents at all. The couch was not in the best shape when we arrived but considering the location we didn’t mind.

This Mission Beach gem was perfect for our family visit to San Diego. The house was centrally located, steps from a beautiful beach and the fenced-in yard was perfect for us to relax and let our 1 yr. old grandson run around. The house was well equipped and Ginny was very accommodating to our requests. The only issue was parking (the house has a designated spot for a small/midsize car but we had a minivan rental)- street parking is tricky.
