DESCRIPTION
Sunset West is a wonderfully designed vacation rental home in the Beach BarberTract neighborhood of La Jolla.

Enter the home to a sun-filled open living room with a gas fireplace and Brazilian cherry hardwood floors. From there you’ll find a gourmet kitchen, fully stocked with a full appliance package and a center island. A convenient breakfast nook leads to a garden patio with lounges. There is one bedrooms on the ground level and another 4 on the second level, including the Master bedroom with another sleeping nook. The Master bedroom includes a built-in gas fireplace, a walk-in closet, and a lovely ocean-view terrace.

For a real treat take the spiral staircase to the ocean-view rooftop deck, complete with lounge seating and a firepit; the perfect spot to relax and recharge, and of course, take in one of those famous San Diego sunsets.

Additional amenities include TVs in all rooms, Wi-Fi, ceiling fans and box fans, ready-made beds, one full towel set and beach towel per guest, and a starter kit of household and bath soaps and paper goods. In-home laundry and detergent are also provided for your convenience.

When you’re ready to get out and explore, it’s just a 5-minute walk down Sea Lane to the ocean and sandy beach. You can stroll up and down the sandy beach and wander along sandstone outcroppings or spread out your towels and enjoy some serious sunbathing with the crashing waves as a backdrop.

The Sunset West vacation rental is also conveniently located within walking distance of the Village of La Jolla. There is plenty of sightseeing along with shopping boutiques and several first-class dining options for the foodies in your group.

• ID and credit card used at booking must be presented upon request. A separate e-sign agreement highlighting important terms and conditions must be signed to complete the booking process.

• 9:00 rooftop deck curfew. Noise must be at a reasonable level to not disturb neighbors at all times.

    Plenty of room for 4 couples and three kids. We brought our own air mattress for the youngest. Loved the rooftop patio for post dinner conversation and games. Easy five minute walk directly down Sea Lane to the ocean. (Tired kids managed the walk back by piggyback.) Kitchen accommodated the whole group for the week. Loved the heavy blackout shades in the large windows in the bedrooms to make sure everyone got plenty of sleep.

    The location is great - walkable to the beach and restaurants. The rooms and amenities were very basic but sufficient for a short stay. We had some issues with the dishwasher, and the property manager was quick to send someone out to fix. Wouldn’t recommend with toddlers as there are wooden floors, a split level and a narrow spiral staircase, so felt a bit dangerous for them.

    The home was perfect for our group of 10 30-something year olds with 2 kids and a dog. There was ample dining and lounge space throughout the home and a lot of space for parking - 2 cars in the garage and 2 cars in the driveway. The home is in a great location - a few blocks from the beach, walking distance to shops and restaurants, would visit again.

    Great stay! House was clean and the entire process was easy and stress free. Location is awesome, walking distance to beach and restaurants. The only down side is there are a few houses on the block that appear to be vacant and need to be torn down and rebuild. Other than that, perfect stay!

    My family and I came to La Jolla for a wedding. Our house was perfect for our large group. Location is great and the house had plenty of room for all of us. Great sunsets on the top deck. Kitchen is nicely updated and had everything we needed. Check-in was easy and the management was available if we needed anything.

    Nice property. Plenty of room for 12 of us! Very little yard space, but deck on top is a nice plus! Only two complaints… first, there are very high ceilings in the house and hardwood floors, so the noise travels everywhere…. So when one or two are up, the rest of the house is awake soon. Second, furniture in living room is pretty minimal and not comfortable. We like comfy couches to snuggle and read with kiddos. Very small couch and 2 chairs. Adequate at best. But if you don’t plan to hang around the house much, works just fine.
