Stayed May 23, 2025This is our second time staying at Sunset View. We love the location. The southern end of lake is more quiet in our opinion and this home is perfect for two families. We love the overall space, flat yard and that you can go into the water easily given the ocean type access. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is stocked and the host provides basics to get you started which should last a good 2-3 days. We will most definitely be back to Sunset View in the future.

Stayed Apr 24, 2025We are sisters and mom who spent a weekend here in April. The house was very clean, with comfortable beds. Beautiful views from the dock. Good communication with the host. It is a distance from most restaurants and shopping, but it's an easy drive through beautiful countryside. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Dec 21, 2024It was a nice view of the lake and the location was close enough to restaurants and local shopping areas. We went skiiing and that was only 25 or so min away. The host communicated frequently and was very attentive to answering questions promptly and was very helpful with resolving issues in a timely fashion even during Christmas Day. I enjoyed the stay with my family and would recommend it to others.

Stayed Oct 11, 2024Great property with a nice retro vibe-very cozy for a large cottage, nicely decorated, beautiful views of the lake, large porch, nice yard and beach. One note: be careful while driving, especially at night, as we encountered several deer. We had a wonderfully relaxing time and would love to return!

Stayed Aug 3, 2024Wonderful week!!! Beautiful location. Very responsive owner. First time stay in Deep Creek ... will be back next summer. Only thing we had issues with was it was listed as having air conditioning and only one bedroom upstairs had a small window air conditioner. The rest of the house was not cooled. The kitchen refrigerator has issues keeping things cold as well.

Stayed Jul 15, 2024Property was exactly what it was advertised as. We loved being right by the water. It was a wonderful quiet area with friendly neighbors. The house was great for the kids with the bedroom area with multiple beds. Plenty of time spent floating off the dock and fishing. The property owner was friendly, and communication was a breeze!
