Sunset Cowboys Retreat

Great place for a family to stay on vacation. Easy drives to Bryce Canyon and Zion. We even took a day to trip to the Grand Canyon. Many other places close by to explore.

It was nice to be able to do a load of laundry, have necessities for cooking breakfast, and plenty of room for our family of 5. The ice maker in the fridge was a plus for the hot weather. Also, relaxing drive to Bryce Canyon. Lots of extras that made our stay a joy. Thank you.

This is a great place close to Zion and that area. Wed stay here again. We did notice the yard is small, not fenced and on the main road running through town, so busy. We weren’t at the house for long, we were in the park and surrounding areas so it didn’t affect us. But if you have littles, this isn’t a yard they can play in unattended. Communication was excellent and arrival/departure instructions were clear and easy. The back door lock does seem difficult to be certain it’s actually locked, maybe worth a check by the owner. Thank you for sharing your home.

Perfect place for exploring Zion and the area. Not at all crowded like Springdale, which we liked. Comfortable and had everything we needed.

The cabin gave off a cozy atmosphere and it was super clean and the area was very convenient whenever we wanted to go on a hike or needed to go to a store. Loved every second of this trip!

Such a perfect place to stay when visiting Southern UT! We skipped the crowds of the west side of Zion National Park and enjoyed Bryce Canyon and Kanab while staying in a cozy, family friendly home. We had family ranging from a 3 year old to an eighty-two year old and everyone enjoyed their stay. The hosts were very accommodating and we had everything we needed for our stay. It was great having a nice little grocery store within walking distance, too.

The Sunset Cowboy Retreat was exactly what we needed for our trips to Bryce and Zion. The property had everything we needed for our stay to feel like a home away from home. We felt safe and comfortable the entire stay. The property was clean and well maintained.

The Cowboy House was everything you’d expect in Cowboy motif and all the amenities necessary to create a wonderful vacation. Functional, clean and great location for Bryce and Zion national parks.

We went to Bryce Canyon NP, Zion NP, Sand caves, Red Hollow Canyon, The Narrows, Belly of the Dragon…this place was conveniently located in a place where we could do it all!! Even went to the Grand Canyon!! Lots of space for family and love the country look!

This was an ideal location for visiting the National Parks in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed this adorable and well supplied home. The owners provided plenty of nice quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, dish soap, detergent, dryer sheets, and paper products. We even had available to us: parchment paper, plastic wrap, and an assortment of ziplock bags. We have never stayed at any other property that was so well supplied. A hearty thank you to our hosts for being so welcoming and generous. We would definitely recommend this home for YOUR next visit to the beautiful parks in Utah. We are so sorry that the whistle on the tea kettle melted. . All we did was try to boil some water for tea. Also, we could not get the fire pit to work. We’re not sure if there was something wrong with it or if the gas was low. Either way, we were okay with not using it. It did not put a damper on our visit.

This was our last stay on our 2 week trip. We obviously saved the best for last! The house was clean, very comfortable, and well stocked. We loved the decorative touches. Very convenient to Zion. As others have stated, the house is close to the road, it is definitely noisy during the day but at night the traffic calms down considerably. We had no trouble sleeping. We would love to have an opportunity to rent this he’s again.

This cute cabin was perfectly located between all of our stops, Zion NP, Bryce Canyon and Page, AZ. The cabin is well stocked with everything you need. Loved our stay!!

The house was clean and comfortable. It had a well stocked kitchen for those who wish to cook. The location was closer to the road than expected. It was a bit noisy and very walkable area.

We were In town for a wedding and this house worked great. It is also a good location to visit Zion, Bryce and the Coral Sand Dunes. Check in was easy.

This house was perfect for our needs and a great place to come back to and relax after long adventure filled days around the area.

This is a good central location to explore Zion, Bryce Canyon, and Kanab. We also selected it because we wanted to ski at Brian Head, but that was a bit awkward because we learned the hard way that they close the most direct route in the winter (pretty drive but not one I would choose to do again). The house is clean and spacious and very well stocked with everything you might need. It has a direct water heater, so no worries about running out of hot water, which was very nice after a long day of hiking. We really enjoyed the tour of the peek-a-boo slot canyon just north of Kanab, and Kanab itself is a really interesting town if you like old westerns. Most of them were filmed there and there are signs everywhere describing the history. Afterwards, we got mouth-watering steaks at Houston's.

Cabin like atmosphere at its best! A great home to rekindle for my family. Great getaway and much needed peace and quiet.Certainly felt the warmth and comfort, but overall the sharing a beautiful tale of sharing wonderful and cozy home.

We enjoyed our stay for our group of five adults. Very comfortable, plenty of room and the location was awesome for visiting both Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks.

Very nice house, clean, very comfortable beds, well decorated. I would stay there again. Only one small complaint, it was only 55 degrees in the house when we arrived and it took a couple hours to warm up.

Great location for access to slot canyons east of Zion NP. Clean, roomy, modern home. We enjoyed the fire pit in the backyard. Good communication with the hosts. The only concern is that the dishwasher needs to be installed into the cabinet.

We were immediately entranced when we walked through the door of this lovely house. There was plenty of space, the kitchen easily accommodated us with its space and counters. Being right off of the highway was a plus as we were able to get to where we needed to quickly and there wasn't much noise from the street. We loved the cowboy theme.

Property was clean and had everything we needed for our 5 night stay. The property is in a good central location for Zion and Bryce Canyon, with the added bonus of 2 National Monuments within an hour drive. Communication with host was easy with quick responses to any text I sent to them. Definitely would stay here again.k res

We were in town for vacation. Lovely place, handled our family of 9 just fine. AC rocks and rolls. Kitchen was well equipped. They even sell home raised beef in the freezer. Nice play. Neighborhood a little run down, but, we would happily stay here again.

Lovely property, as advertised. Convenient for Zion and Bryce. We like the history, that it's still family owned.

We stayed here a few nights during a 2 week road trip. This was our stop to visit Zion NP and Bryce Canyon NP. The location was perfect, We were about 20 minutes from Zion and 1 hour from Bryce. We walked into town and shopped at the grocery store and an antique store too. Everyone was very nice and friendly. The property was perfect! It was very comfortable for our Family of 4. It had all the amenities needed as well. The owner was very quick in their communication and also thorough. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again!!

My family really enjoyed staying here and it was essential to our trip. We visited both Zion & Bryce and it was conveniently located between both. We enjoyed every evening as a family in the home. Had everything we needed and contact with the owner was easy.
