Sunset Cove on the beautiful Catfish Lake in Eagle River is waiting for you!

Looking for that Up North relaxing family getaway where your kids can run out the back door and jump off the dock, roast marshmallows, kayak, paddle board, fish, boat, and make memories that will last a lifetime You have come to the right place. Sunset Cove is located on beautiful Catfish Lake in Eagle River. Catfish Lake is a part of the chain of 28 lakes- the largest in the world. This newly updated home sits conveniently on the exclusive Everett Peninsula, close to everything- restaurants, pond hockey, The Dome, snowmobile trails, golf courses, hiking/biking in The Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, and the charming downtown Eagle River. The new Marina Bar just opened this year, and is just a quick 5 minute walk or kayak ride away. You can spend an entire week cruising the chain exploring, and stopping for a bite to eat or drink at many of the amazing restaurants.

Sunset Cove has many excellent outside amenities, a large permanent pier where you can take in the gorgeous sunsets, a large patio by the water with an outdoor covered cookstation, and a custom fire-pit with firewood included. There are multiple patio tables outside for those summer dinners. There is a shed by the water with 2 kayaks, and a row boat on the dock with paddles that are also included for your enjoyment while you stay. The sandy, clear shoreline is fantastic for swimming and soaking up the sun! It is shallow near the shore which is great for the little ones wanting to splash around. Another added bonus is the grassy flat lot, perfect for yard games, and relaxing.

This lovely home features a newly updated open concept kitchen, living, and dining room with incredible views of the lake, beautiful maple hardwood floors, and a 65 in. flat screen TV. The dining room table has space for 10, and the breakfast table can hold 4. We do have extra folding tables and chairs available if needed. There are 3 bedrooms on the main level. All with beautiful Cedar Creations Furniture. The master bedroom sleeps 4 with a king bed, and Full futon, large flat screen TV and patio doors leading onto the deck. Great for morning coffee! It has an ensuite bathroom with large walk in shower and jetted tub with two vanities. The second guest room has the same gorgeous views of the lake and a queen bed with a door leading into the main level bathroom. The third guest room has a queen bed and shares the upstairs bathroom which has a tub/shower combo and two large closets for plenty of storage. The lower level bedroom sleeps 5 with a queen bed, and bunks, twin over full. The lower level also has gorgeous views of the lake with a large open rec room with a pool/ping pong table, and a walkout basement. This room also houses another set of bunk beds twin over twin. A 3/4 bathroom is located down stairs as well. All the bathrooms are stocked with towels, hand towels, wash clothes, hand soap, and 2 rolls of toilet paper. Another fantastic feature of this home is a lower level living room with partial kitchen. This room features a gas fireplace and TV. Great space for kids or adults to relax, and play games if the weather is bad.

Laundry is located on the main level with laundry detergent included. The kitchen is fully stocked. The oven is an Induction Oven so please only use the pots and pans provided.

All three TV’s in the house have Roku to watch your own shows and movies.
High speed internet is also included.
Linens are provided for all the beds.
Towels are included.
Please bring your own beach towels for the lake!! We DO NOT provide those!
I also recommend bringing paper goods for the kitchen. I have found it much easier than washing dishes when on vacation!
We also have a place for you to dock your own boat, or we can recommend a couple of places for boat rentals nearby.

Eagle River hosts a plethora of activities and things to do. Mini golfing, laser tag, horseback riding, go karts, The Northwoods Children's Museum are just a few. A variety of events also take place year around in Eagle River. Fall host Cranberry Fest, a well attended attraction each year. Fall color is also beautiful in the area. Winter hosts: The World Championships Snowmobile Derby, and Pond Hockey Championships on Dollar Lake only 5 minutes away, ice fishing, ice skating, cross country skiing, down hill skiing at Ski Brule (31 miles from Sunset Cove), sledding, and snowmobiling, Eagle River is considered the snowmobile capital of the world with over 500 miles of groomed trails. Our home has quick access to the trail just a quick 1/4 mile from the driveway. We have a large 2-car garage that can warm up those snowmobiles in the cold. Besides all the wonderful attractions Eagle River hosts there are plenty of town nearby that also are fun to explore. Minocqua, Three Lakes, Land O' Lakes just to name a few.
