Sunset Beach Palace in Treasure Island, Beachfront

Unobstructed view of the beach and Gulf of Mexico. The advertisement, however, is quite misleading about several of the amenities. The fireplaces that are listed in the photographs and description are all for decoration only; a fact that was not relayed to us until well after our check-in when we attempted to turn them on. Furthermore, the jacuzzi tubs in the upstairs bathrooms, one of the main reasons this home was booked, were inoperable; another detail that was not relayed to us until after check-in. The home was beautiful, but there was quite a lack of communication regarding several of the amenities.

The house was the perfect size for our group. And the location was the absolute best. The only main issues was the pool was not very clean, the upstairs shades did not work so the sun flooded the room in the morning. But these are minor issues and we would definitely stay again. Loved the property.

We had a wonderful time there with our three grown children, their spouses and our grandchildren. The location is perfect. There were various nap schedules with the little ones and we were able to go back and forth to the beach or use the pool or patio or deck as needed. And it's big enough that we could put the kids to bed and have adult fun time in the evenings. Sunsets from the deck were gorgeous. And we had some wonderful dinners and fun games at night, not to mention final drinks on the deck under the stars.

The distance between the beach and the house allowed us to go back and forth between the pool and beach thru out the day!! Definitely a 10 out of 10!! Will definitely be returning!!
