The only thing to flag is in the summer it gets so hot outside and the temp for all the bedrooms is locked to 72o which is pretty high when it's over 100 outside.

It was a very comfortable house for 5 of us. We are not crazy partiers so the sound ordinance was not a problem. I might suggest leaving some windex under kitchen sink in case anyone gets sunscreen on a glass door as you said that would cause extra cleaning fees. There is also only one small frying pan that we found to cook on unless you are baking or roasting something. It was nice to have coffee and other basic things to work with while we were there. The vent in the kitchen over the stove area goes on randomly and is very loud, looks old so wanted you to be aware of that too. Thank you.

Clean, well appointed, and fabulous home. We received a call for early checkin and it was a great surprise. Our group of 6 was comfortable and enjoyed our stay. We’ve stayed in many Palm Springs homes over the years and Sunset Modern was very special, especially the outdoor area. There was a bit of a snafu with the A/C but the home did cool down eventually. The bbq is also gas powered not propane so don’t be a “Karen” and call like I did, read the helpful House Manual. The vent hood/fan didn’t work otherwise a wonderful stay!

Please be aware than when you arrive for a summer visit that the air conditioner will not be on and the home will be quite warm. We purchased three box fans and donated them to the property when we left. Sleeping was much easier them. :-) The house did cool down in the evenings and it was an enjoyable with a perfect location.
