SunnyG Get Away - Private Pool - Walk to Pleasure Pier

Its Island Time at the SunnyG Get Away. You are right in the middle of everything with the Seawall and Pleasure Pier an easy walk 1 1/2 blocks away. Spend the day at the beach splashing in the water and building sandcastles on the beach. For a little shade, picnic under the pier - so easy. Take a walk on the Seawall and stroll over to Murdochs for a little shopping and rocking chair action.

Wet your appetite at Fish Tales, Bubba Gumps, Chick Fil A, BLVD Seafood, Fish Company Tacosor Wendys - all in walking distance. Catch a ride on the trolley down to the Strand or to Moody Gardens. The Cruise Terminal is right down the street. Children and teens will enjoy Menard Park with a playground, basketball and skate park also in walking distance.

The SunnyG Get Away is a 1912 grand ole house that is completely and beautifully updated and furnished. The 3/4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath house sleeps 12. The three upstairs bedrooms include a master with a queen size bed and 1/2 bath attached. Another very large bedroom sleeps 4 on 2 queen beds. Also upstairs is a double bunk room that sleeps 4. These rooms share a full bath. The very large dining room downstairs houses a queen size Murphy bed. Big pocket doors give privacy and easy convenience to the full bath downstairs make this a good room to double as our 4th bedroom.

There is plenty of room to hang out with family and friends inside and out. Relax out on the big front porch and view all the great Galveston events that pass right down the street. We are right on the Mardi Gras parade route. Sit on the big front porch, watch the marching bands and floats go by and catch plenty of beads!

The best kept secret is the lovely entertaining space in the backyard complete with a garden pool and outdoor kitchen. The 4' deep pool has a tanning ledge and sitting ledge designed for socializing. Hang out and enjoy the water features and color changing light.

Let the chef in the group cook a family meal on the great outdoor kitchen while everyone relaxes under the covered pergola. (Propane provided)

Everything you need will be at your fingertips from a fully stocked kitchen to linens, bath and beach towels and beach and pool toys.

Parking is no problem here. We can accommodate 4-5 vehicles with parking in front of the house and in the driveway. Parking permits are provided for street parking.

Our family loves our old house with its original wood floors. We ask our guests to please honor this home by not leaving wet towels or ice chests on the wood. Don't have glass in the pool, pick up your trash, rinse off the sand before entering, rinse and put up beach toys, don't mess with the pool equipment, lock up the house when you leave - just treat it as your own home. We hope that many families will experience a great time at our home.

There is so much to do in Galveston. We are always discovering something new. With its great location and awesome amenities, the SunnyG Get Away can be your escape from the big city for some Sweet Island Time!

The renter of the home is responsible and must be on site during the rental period. A maximum of 12 guests will be allowed at the SunnyG. Out of respect for our neighbors, we can not allow large parties at our home. No prom or graduation parties will be allowed. During hurricane season, June 1 - November 30th, no refunds are offered for a stay unless a Category 1 or higher named Hurricane is heading directly to Galveston.
