It has 5 roomy well-appointed bedrooms and 4 separate bathrooms on both floors. Plenty of windows to let in light. Very relaxing atmosphere looking out on the lake and just being surrounded by trees. Nice big kitchen side table for coffee and conversation. Perfect comfortable furniture set up in living room for evening relaxation. I loved the use of the sauna, which was easily warmed up and used. We rented during the winter, but can easily see how it would be a blast during the summer months. Very nice sized water bank with barbeque, fire pit, dock, changing room and bathroom. Super comfortable property and was just what my siblings and I were looking for.

Perfect accommodation for our extended family retreat. We look forward to coming back again, whatever the occasion. Thank you!

Had a great time staying at this beautiful home on the lake, and the hosts were super helpful and easy to reach with questions. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun escape by the lake!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lakefront home. The location is incredibly quiet and private, with beautiful views and easy access down to the lake. The house had plenty of space for our group of five adults to spread out comfortably, along with great common areas to relax and spend time together.With the “get away from it all” feel comes a 15-minute drive to groceries and restaurants, but intentional pre-planning plus a well-appointed kitchen mitigates this completely. Overall, a great spot if you’re looking for a serene setting with room to unwind—we’d definitely come back.

The space worked perfectly for our multigenerational family get together. The views were amazing and the setup of the house allowed you to enjoy the setting rain or shine. We really appreciated the host recommendations to enjoy the area. The park at the end of the road was a close by gem to get out for an easy walk with spectacular views. There were plenty of towels/supplies and we appreciated the quality linens on the beds. It was great to be able to sit our big group at one table for dinner and lounge together in the big spaces, yet enough separate spaces that people could get away from the group for quiet times. The communcation with the host was timely and the guest notebook gave the right amount of guidance that we could live within the space without unnecessary questions.

The home was perfect for a girls getaway. Enough room for 6 ladies. Sure would be a gem in the summer to utilize the amazing waterfront. The sauna and hot tub were great! Only issue were the carpets and the downstairs couch. Showing the carpet age (white probably wasn't a great choice) and wasn't cleaned well. We found several items on the living room carpet and food stuffed in the downstairs couch.

We stayed in Feb 2026. It was pretty chilly, so no real lake activities for us. The house was great. Very spacious and a beautiful view. We had 4 adults and 3 teen boys. Everyone had a good time. The hot tub was a big hit too. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a really incredible stay at this Lake Whatcom house. The kitchen was really well equipped, and we were so grateful that there were plenty of chairs and good seating options in the dining and living room options. The directions and communications were clear and very helpful, and the view was absolutely spectacular. We are so grateful for the opportunity to spend the weekend together and thank you for your hospitality!

The quiet location, beautiful views and spacious home were perfect for a ladies weekend getaway. We enjoyed making meals in the well-appointed kitchen and eating, crafting and puzzling around the large dining table. The living room with its river rock gas fireplace was ideal for morning coffee and evening conversations. There was so much to do at this VRBO. We could have used another day or two to fully enjoy the pool table, foosball table, infrared sauna and home theater spaces.Overall, this was a comfortable property for a group of six to stay at during the winter months.

Absolutely amazing place to stay! Kerrie and Jaret and have been incredible hosts. The kitchen was well stocked. There are tons of games. The hot tub was perfect. We had the best time.

I loved our stay. The house is well equipped for a big group including kitchen/cookware/spices. We couldn’t get over the beautiful views! Thanks for hosting, I’d love to come back in the summer months to use the waterfront.

Generally good however the beds should be upgraded to King size and housekeeping should pay closer attention to vacuuming (we found dust and paper underneath our beds).

The house was amazing. Great views of the lake and mountains. It was so quiet and peaceful, even though there are several homes nearby. There was plenty of space for everyone, even had playpens for my 11 month old grandson. The host was extremely helpful in providing areas to visit and trails to hike.

This house was a great place for our group of friends to stay for the weekend. The only problem was we didn’t book it for longer.We enjoyed the hot tub, jumping in the lake, and the view. Can’t wait to return

The property was beautiful and the kitchen was well-stocked with pots/pans/cooking equipment and serving dishes. A few more chairs on the deck would have been appreciated.

We had a terrific week with 8 adults and two toddlers at Sunny Lake Whatcom. Great large family room with amazing lake views and kitchen space for all to enjoy. Beds were fluffy and inviting. Safety gates were a huge added bonus. We rented a boat that was delivered directly to the dock. Had a great time on the lake and hanging out on the shoreline. Our hosts were super accommodating and timely with any questions!!

We all loved staying here! Previous to coming, we had planned many activities however, once we arrived we only left “our lake home” for hikes, groceries and one dinner at a restaurant! We had so much fun at the beach and in the home! The home was perfect for our family, ages 1-74. Communication with Jaret was exceptional. I highly recommend this beautiful home!

The house is exactly as described, lots of room for our extended family and in an excellent location. The house was clean, beds were comfortable and lots of fun toys and games were available. Each morning, we went for a hike or Mt bike ride in the area (so many to choose from!) and we spent each afternoon down on their dock playing in the water with all the lake toys they provided. Communication with the hosts was excellent, Jarrett is very responsive!

The house was great for our big family gathering. There was plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed The pool table the hot tub and the fire pit and did some hiking too. The owners were very responsive as they live right next door. Would definitely recommend them . Such a beautiful lake view.

Can’t imagine a more peaceful and relaxing vacation spot, the combination of hot tub, lake, sauna, and lounging was perfection. Felt like such a retreat! The house was so clean and provided everything we needed. Already booked for the same time next year!

We had a great time! The space was clean, in a gorgeous location with great amenities. We enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, and spacious bedrooms. Great communication with the hosts as well.

Property owners were gracious and answered all questions. The place is beautiful offered more than we expected.

We spent a few days on the property over New Years. It was the perfect space to gather for a few days. Views were stunning, home was spacious and clean, hot tub was great lots of fun board games and things to do. One of the couples had a baby and they had everything they could have needed. Kitchen had extra utensils which we didn’t expect but was nice to have. We made homemade pasta one night and had brought everything from home only to find they had the exact same pasta maker we had! Knives were pretty dull so that was the only draw back there. Coming in the evening (in December) it was really hard to find the driveway. Steps down to the water were pretty slick so be careful! Otherwise a really spectacular space and such a beautiful home! Everything went very smooth and we were so grateful to have a space to bring in the New Year together. We are hoping to come back again!

Our second time back to this wonderful home and we enjoyed ourselves tremendously. A nice relaxing break during the busy holiday season. Highly recommended.

We stayed here over Christmas with extended family. Great house & beautiful location. Overall all was good. Stairs to lake are a bit slick in winter. We were a bit disappointed to not have a Christmas tree as one was in the photos listed. Would stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay in this property. However, upon arrival we discovered that the hot tub was not functional. It would have been nice to enjoy the fireplace but that too was not working. TV not working.

We stayed over Thanksgiving with our family and could not be more grateful for the experience we had at this VRBO. It was clean, spacious, well stocked, the beds were comfortable and spacious, the kitchen well stocked and organized, the view was gorgeous, and we were thrilled to be able to folloe our daily cold plunges with an incredibly refreshing sauna! The hosts were gracious and extremely responsive, thank you so mucb for a wonderful visit, what a treat, so worth it!!

Beautiful location by the lake. Nice dock and access to the lake Spacious We did not realized this before but the road is between the beach and the cottage. You have access to the beach and it is private but across the road. Beds are not firm at all. The arrival process was not smooth as the code for the door did not work- it took an hour for the owner to reply to our message.

Very nice home for a weekend stay with friends.

This was much better than a hotel, the kitchen was stocked with many appliances, coffee maker, hot water maker, instant pot to name a few, Lots of storage in the kitchen. Bar b que. Lots of games, pool table, foosball table, work out center, SAUNA, hot tub and we used all of them. A lovely 2 person jetted tub which was nice since this was our Honeymoon trip with our friends. The owners couldn't have been better. Great communication! Home was clean, bright, and comfortable.

Everything was great. we were 4 couples in our 50's for a golf weekend. Only minor issue was no wine glasses/or not enough, and the frypans were not any good. we would definitely go back to this House.

Family had a great time spending time together in this beautiful lakefront location. Rooms very well laid out to provide comfortable areas for everyone and to enjoy the view.
