Stayed Aug 2, 2025Our family enjoyed our visit to Lake Martin. This was our second time visiting the area. We loved the waterfront location and private dock. Very quiet and small neighborhood. We had no issues unloading our pontoon and making it under the low bridge in the property description. However, keep in mind you will need to lower your bimini and lay down low in your seat to make it under. Once you make it under the bridge you’re good to go. We spent everyday on the boat exploring miles of beautiful Lake Martin. We definitely recommend checking out Chimney Rock. There are several islands around the lake that have areas for anchoring at shoreline and enjoying a nice swim. Two of our favorite restaurants are located less than 10 minutes from this property. Niffers and Oscars. Both offer great food and excellent prices. The house offers ample space for families. The layout is a bit different than other places we’ve stayed. You’ll enter the property on the top floor which has 2 bedrooms, one bathroom and the bonus area. Downstairs you’ll find the living room, kitchen/dining area, another bedroom and bathroom, laundry room and access to the back patio and boat deck. Beds weren’t as comfortable as we would like, but that is personal opinion only. We would definitely recommend this rental to friends and family.

Stayed Jul 27, 2025This place was absolutely perfect for my family's boating and watersports get-away. The house was exactly as shown in photos from the listing. There was a hiccup with check-in, though our host immediately rectified the problem and very much made things right. The bridge across Stillwaters Highway indeed provides a more secluded and less boat-trafficked area for great swimming and water-skiing. Our boat was able to fit under the bridge, so we often explored and enjoyed the deeper waters of this incredible lake. I would book this place again without a moment's hesitation.

Stayed Jul 3, 2025Nice place. Kitchen has essential cookware and appliances. We enjoyed the beautiful lakeside view and water fun. We took our pontoon boat and had some difficulty finding a boat ramp. The ramp nearby wasn’t usable and we could barely fit under the bridge separating the lake areas. Eventually, we found a public ramp that worked (Union Boat Ramp) but it was on the other side of the bridge about a 20 minute boat ride from house to ramp. Also, the charcoal grill needs to be replaced; burning embers were falling out of the bottom (rust). Over all, we had a great time!

Stayed May 30, 2025The house was wonderful and the location was perfect. Not a lot of water traffic which was perfect. Communication with the host was fast and I would definitely recommend this house to others.

Stayed Nov 28, 2024Checking in process was easy. Communication with host was awful but he did allow an early check in. Still haven’t received a message back about the broken bed in one of the upstairs rooms. One couple had to sleep on the floor.FYI bring towels and everything else you’ll need .Other than that it was ok.

Stayed Jul 25, 2024We had a wonderful time here. Quiet little neighborhood, has a private boat launch and an area to park your boat trailer. Close to good restaurants. The lake is great. Great swimming area right out the back door. I highly recommend!!!

Stayed Jul 10, 2024The place was nice and comfortable for our big family. The neighbors were friendly and the view was pretty. We used our son’s smaller boat to shuttle us to our larger boat which was on the other side of the bridge. We launched the bigger boat at Harbor Point and parked our trailer there as well. All in all, we had a great trip for our first time in Lake Martin.
