We very much enjoyed our stay, our second one in the house. It is very comfortable and homey. The kitchen is fully stocked with all kinds of pots of pans and spices, etc.We are happy there and we will rent it again if it’s available when we would like to get out of town.

Remodeled older home. Beautiful outdoor space. The kitchen was very nice clean and up to date. The bathrooms were a little funky but clean. If you are a larger individual this may not be the place for you as the shower is very tight. Beds were very comfortable. It is an older home and the stairs were a little tricky to navigate so if you have mobility issues or small children this place might be a challenge. Overall very nice but a little quirky because of it being an older home.

We loved the cozy and roomy house in quiet Inverness. It has the charm of providing modern amenities in a building that exudes history. The location was ideal for us as we explored the Point Reyes area.

This is a lovely older home in the heart of Inverness. The kitchen has been remodeled and seems to have everything but we ate out a lot so didn't put it to an extreme test. There is lots of outdoor space for hanging out. It was very spacious for just 3 of us. We enjoyed the home.

This is an older home whose decor and furnishings had our personality written all over it! Well stocked kitchen to cook a family dinner, nice sized rooms for all of our needs and vintage charm that pressed all of our buttons.

My group of friends really enjoyed this place and the location. The listing is very accurate -- it has a lot of old home appeal and charm. Thank you to the host who provided every detail possible and communicated in a kind way. The one issue we had was the lack of curtains on any windows. Room darkeners would be nice as an option for the bedrooms.

There were 4 of us staying to celebrate my husband’s 80th birthday and our daughter’s 50th. It was just the nuclear family — no son-in-law or daughter-in-law and no grandchildren. This was the perfect spot. The house was immediately welcoming and comfortable. It was very clean and well-equipped. The kitchen was big enough for all 4 of us to make wonderful meals (shucked 60 oysters). My husband and I, being older, were very careful on the stairs. That would be my only warning to others.

We were here for a wedding at Black Mtn Ranch, so didn’t spend a whole lot of time at the house, but when we did it was very pleasant! Quirky old house with a remodeled kitchen (nice!) and all kinds of interesting artifacts and comfy old furniture. Speaking of comfy, the beds were that. One thing to note - the three bedrooms are upstairs. The one bathroom upstairs does not have a shower. We made it work, though. We had some nice walks in the neighborhood and down to the shore of Tomales Bay. Also it was pleasant to sit in the garden and chat there. Glad we didn’t bring our little dog. I think he would have had trouble navigating the stairs. All in all, a nice stay.

This is an old house, with some quirky features but has a nice feel. The floors creak a little and there is no shower upstairs (just a bathtub), but it's decorated with all kinds of interesting unique art and it feels like you're in someone's home, rather than a cookie cutter rental. Lots of outdoor seating and a nice yard. We went in September so didn't need the fireplace. There is no other heat source, so in the winter the upstairs might be chilly. There's a piano if anyone is musically inclined. Beds are very comfy. As with many hotels and rentals, there is just a sheet on the bed and a big heavy comforter. I wish something in between was supplied (a blanket) but we made do with some sofa throws from downstairs. There were lots of condiments, spices and other food there, although we brought most of what we needed. We enjoyed our stay (three women friends on a girls trip).
