Frank's Place: Classic Inverness Home with Bay Views, Hot Tub

Frank’s Place is a true gem in Inverness. The owners and the innkeepers go out of their way to make your stay the best possible experience. We cannot wait to return next year!

Peaceful, comfortable. Beautiful surroundings and view. Quiet. Close enough to Pt Reyes Station to visit with no trouble. Far enough away to feel removed from tourism or weekend crowd. Private.

The house is so special. Comfortable, elegant, thoughtfully managed. West Marin is heavenly and this is an ideal place to gather with friends and family.

We had previously stayed at Frank's Place with the same friends from Boston a few years ago and were even more pleased than we were the first time.

Frank’s Place has been our family’s home away from home for over a decade. It is in a safe, peaceful and beautiful area of CA. It is well appointed and very comfortable. Easy from check in to check out. It’s a good home base for so many andve and trails in the area. Our family includes teens and grandparents and everyone always comes away with happy memories and a plan to return to Frank’s Place.

This house is perfect for a relaxing vacation. Beautiful views from every window and deck. Lots of birds visited the feeder. Very quiet area. We had everything we needed in this accommodation.

Frank’s Place was such a wonderful stay! So incredibly beautiful and peaceful. Scott was a wonderful host and was very accommodating. The inn keeper was also very helpful and ensured that we had a wonderful stay. Frank’s Place had so many special touches, including for our pups. The bed was incredibly comfortable which is important for someone with back problems. And the hot tub was the perfect touch after long days of hiking. We would definitely stay again.

The house was large enough to comfortably accommodate everyone who gathered for my birthday. We enjoyed having ample kitchen space to prepare our meals. Wonderful views and hot tub!

Been coming here for about 7 years for my birthday. Feel so at home here. Cooked most of our meals here. Everything is provided in terms of cookware, baking pans and equipment. Decks and outdoor seating areas with views of the trees, water, and birds. Highly recommend.

Love Frankes place. The good- Large roomy home. Nice decks with bbq. Great selection of kitchen appliances and gadgets. Great master bed, very comfortable! Very secluded location, could not see another home. Huge selection of book and cds , probably over 100 of each! The not so good- Several windows that either have moisture between panes or a heavy film on the outside. Swivel chairs in living room have dirty/ greasy stains on the arms. Wouldn’t sit in them, need to be cleaned or replace. Sun shade above kitchen table is rotted from exposure to sun. Coming apart in places. The Terra cotta tile in the kitchen needs a good cleaning. Walked through the kitchen several times while preparing and eating dinner while wearing white socks. Sock bottoms had an incredible amount of nasty grime on them Actually threw socks away and put shoes on. Frank’s is a great place that is due for some maintenance. All that being said we would probably return in hopes of some maintenance being done.

From the welcoming wood, to the beautiful views, to the fabulous hot tub, this is the ideal getaway for our annual men’s group retreat. Our only request is to make the bed in upstairs office more comfortable and with drawers for clothes in that room, too.

It as a wonderful visit. The house is warm and inviting. Lots of windows and a great view. The floor plan is open and spacious. The bedrooms were very nice with beautiful views and comfy beds.

We’ve been vacationing in Inverness over the past 18 years. Frank’s Place is our go to place to stay and our family has come to think of it as our home away from home. So many great memories made over the years. It’s a lovely home and I’m amazed at its versatility. It very comfortably accommodates everyone from as young as toddlers to seniors. The home has a fair amount of stairs, so maybe not suited for those for mobility challenges, but our 83 year old grandpa managed just fine. We will continue to come to Frank’s Place and are so grateful to Scott for sharing his slice of heaven.

The house is spectacularly located high above Tomales Bay. It is spacious and comfortable and very clean. A wonderful place to spend a few vacation days with family.

Brought our little dog here to avoid neighborhood fireworks where we live. Beautiful, peaceful stay. Very satisfied.

Frank's place was the perfect spot for 3 generations to be together...from the beautiful surroundings, proximity to point reyes seashore, to the comfortable accommodations, and wealth of books and games ( not to mention the hot tub), we thoroughly enjoyed our stay...the only thing that would have made it even better, would have been a few less twists and turns up the road!!! Thanks so much for sharing your little piece of heaven with us.

Excellent location and beautiful setting. WiFi is a bit shaky but does come on. Loved the decks and hot tub. A little tricky to find.
