Sunflower House on Lake Wissota

Loved our stay here! It was close to the state park and we had so much fun!

Perfect location for our needs. Very pleasant on the river. Best kitchen supplies/equipment with plenty of dishes we've had in a VRBO. Space in 4 bedrooms with queen beds was perfect

Always fabulous. Have stayed at property four times now. Tv upgrade would be nice on the main floor and to have a fan available.

Our stay was great it had everything we needed for our us and then some. Close to town a great location on the lake and plenty of space for everyone to relax. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area. Can’t wait to visit again. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

The house and the location are amazing. Just close enough to amenities but also still being peaceful.

Our annual college girls group enjoyed the house very much. Plenty of space without being too big. Kitchen was the perfect size to whip up a meal. Neighborhood was nice and quiet and the view of the lake beautiful. Very relaxing.

Check in was smooth with the email code key. Kitchen was well stocked.(but bring a good skillet as the ones there were old teflon). Well built house! Bring your own shower soap/body wash. Laundry facilities available with fee payable online app. Owners were available for questions and help. We were an older group so hand bars in shower would be a help, and handrails on the entrance stairs would help- but easily accessible for most people. Located on the river that empties into the lake. Small dock was sturdy. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. TV is set up so you can use your accounts for programing so bring your username and password. House is close to Chippewa Falls, Yellowstone Cheese factory, Eau Claire, Lake Wissota State Park. Neighborhood is small and quiet, good for short walks, with access to much more walking territory. Small Weber grill available. This is a very nice place to stay!! Not super fancy but a house to feel comfortable in !! Thank you to the owners !!!

The place was great! Very clean and up to date with everything that you need for a lakeshore stay.

Lovely home with an open kitchen/dining/living. Very enjoyable and nice location. The only negative was no rail at entry and lake stairs. A gas grill would be very helpful.Take shower soap. Our family had a great time enjoying this home. Thank you!

Perfect weekend!!

We had a fantastic week at the Sunflower House with friends! The house was beautiful, clean, and in a great location. There was more than enough room for 6 adults - several of us ended up having to do a little work while we were there, and there was plenty of space for us all to spread out and have some privacy. We rented a boat for the week and the dock was great, very easy to land. We spent the week boating, hiking the IAT, visiting the state park, and visiting tons of other great places in Chippewa County and Eau Claire. Communication with the owners was great and check-out was super easy. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

We had a wonderful week staying at the Yellow cottage. The cottage was clean and the owners were easy to communicate. This was our 2nd time staying there. Was quiet and a nice spot to unwind. Would definitely stay again.

I don't typically write reviews, but this place was amazing! Most short term rental houses, you can tell they were remodeled with cheap materials and they cut corners everywhere. Not here! The house is gorgeous and all the materials are very nice and installed properly. I was super surprised. It was very refreshing. Everything went very well and we had a great couple nights there. Very clean. I would recommend to anyone!!

I flew in from California with family from Utah and Colorado to celebrate my Mom's 75th birthday in my hometown. This location was a perfect setting. The house was clean and comfortable. The cookware was not sufficient for cooking for a large group, but we made it work! There was sufficient everything else. We loved it and would stay here again!

The Sunflower home is a very accommodating and lovely place to stay. Our family enjoyed the adequate space to gather which provided an opportunity to really enjoy our time together. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had prior to our stay which was much appreciated and helped us best prepare for our stay.

This is the third time I've stayed at this property. It's so spacious and clean.

Beautiful and spacious

Really up to date and clean cottage. Liked the fact that there were 4 bedrooms, 2 up & 2 down, so that young children could go to bed earlier with no distractions.

Everything was clean updated and well maintained. We made good use of the Well equipped kitchen. The adults all commented it was a perfect choice. Nicely furnished but not overcrowded, giving my grandson plenty space to run around safely. Definitely recommend this vrbo

House accommodated our family well.

Everything was as advertised. It was well equipped and very clean. The only issue we had was that the lake was really green / not good to swim / paddleboard. Otherwise it was great!

This house worked well for seven adults - 3 couples and one single. Comfortable bed, bath, kitchen and relaxing areas. Kitchen was wellppointed

The Sunflower House was just as described. The rooms were just the right size, beds comfortable and each room felt like it was a little retreat at the end of the night. Both living room and family/game room were great for hanging out playing cards and catching up on our lives. The kitchen was well stocked with all the comforts of home. Having the binder and pamphlets on things to do and places to eat in the area was a great help. The six of us all agree that we would definitely stay again at the Sunflower House.

We enjoyed our stay. House is a great layout for two families. Everything clean and new. Dock is a bit small, but we were able to park our 21 ft boat at it. Close to multiple bars and restaurants. On a nice quiet street. Would highly recommend staying.
