The good: The location, proximity to the beach and size of the house were great! The layout of the house worked really well for our family. The kids LOVED the pool and the beach and took full advantage of both! The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils. There are lots of games, puzzles and family activities. The closet on the porch is well equipped with beach necessities!The ish: the house needs some real maintenance. There are multiple broken tiles that stick up, one of which cut my foot in the kitchen. Sliding doors were off tracks, the shower in the bathroom on the main floor practically floods the floor because the doors don’t close properly, and the carpets desperately need to be cleaned. I’m not typically nitpicky, but for 13k a week I will absolutely nitpick. The dishwasher would not work and we notified the property management and no one ever came. The front door lock malfunctioned consistently and was addressed by maintenance on our first day but the issues continued. Overall, those issues really lowered the perceived value of the property. The house has all the potential in the world, it just sorely needs some attention.

The space was exceptional for our large group of 17. The beach views were great. Our last day we got to view a pod of dolphins from the deck.The sand was spectacular. The space was very clean. The littles thought the wading pool was great. The hosts were responsive through the entire process. The only downsides were we wish the pool was beach side and not viewing the street. I think more toilet paper should be provided. Only two rolls for each bathroom is not adequate for lsrge groups. It would also be nice to have a few spices in the kitchen provided. We would definitely return.

It was a great family Thanksgiving vacation. Weather was great most of the week, just a bit cool towards the end! I added the Christmas lights for our stay!

The rental was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We had a problem with lights flickering (we happened to be here during the big snowstorm of 2025) They responded quickly when we called and were very easy to work with. We left MO for our annual girls trip and a little warmer temperatures. The snow was beautiful and we got to experience snow and sand at the same time. I would definitely use GSVR in the future!!!

It did stop a couple of times during operation, but she got it working after pushing the button a few times.The first night we contacted management for instructions to get the fireplace lit. They said they would get back to me and never did, but my son in law showed up an hour later and knew how to start it so, no worries.The back door was tricky. I'm not sure it every really locked, but we eventually figured out how to at least get it to latch.The shower heads are very high and could not be adjusted for us short folks. The master bath shower is poorly lit. Pots and pans were difficult to reach (once again, short person problems) but the kitchen was well equipped. All these items were easy to adapt to and didn't affect our ability to thoroughly enjoy our vacation. We appreciated the Christmas tree and decorations. They allowed us to have a wonderful family celebration!

The only bummer was that there is some construction going on next door, which I wish we had been told. But otherwise, we would definitely recommend and we would visit again!

The location can’t be beat and elevator was a plus however did get stuck a couple times. Beds very comfortable and plenty of room throughout the house for us all.

This is our second time staying at this house. We have the best time here the location is amazing! House is always clean and property manager always available if needed. House is equipped with everything you would need. Will definitely book again and recommend to anyone looking for a ocean view getaway with family/friends
