Summer Breeze | Pet Friendly, Gulf + Bay Views!

The property was great, loved the view and closeness to the beach. Had trouble getting the lock box open to get into the property, but you were very helpful and replaced the lock box quickly. The dishwasher would not work and the door knob on the outside door fell off - the screw wouldn't tighten that holds it on. This would be the room on the right hand side that opens to the deck. Didn't report it at the time because we could make do.

I was never told where the lockbox was so i could get the keys. I eventually found it on the bottom floor. I tried using the key to get in and was unsuccessful. I had to call management which did send someone out. I had to wait in the hot sun an extra 40 minutes. They also sent out a maintenance man. He wasnt able to do anything and said that he would be back to replace the plate. He never came back. Once i walked inside, the house was so hot from heat. It took over 6 hours to cool down (horrible). All of the fans in the house were full of dust, 1 not working, 1 very loose in its stand. I was welcomed with 4 dead roaches. There were no cover on windows, we had to put blankets across the windows to keep the light/heat out. Some of the storm blinds didn't work. In the kitchen, the toaster didnt work. There were no lights working over the stove and under the cabinets. The skillets/pots were so scratched /burnt residue on the bottom, i had to buy a new skillet. Yhe upper shelf in the dishwasher is leaning down, which i would assume that its brokenThe light bulbs between the the bar and den were burnt out 3 out of 4. One of the bar stools stand is so loose, it would be dangerous to sit in. In the hall bathroom downstairs, the bottom of the bathtub was so slick that i had to go buy a rubber mat. The curtian rod and shower curtain hooks were rusted. The handle for the bathtub is completely detached. The chair in the kingsize bedroom has stains on it,that is gross.I have more

The house was very spacious. We had an issue with a window not closing right and the company came out very quick to get it fixed. Loved the quietness of the community. Great weekend getaway. The windows to view the morning sunrise was beautiful. The only downside was there was only 1 shower in all of the full baths. Other than that it was a lovely staycation.

Summer Breeze was wonderful for our family vacation. We very much appreciated the very short, less than 5 minute walk to the beach, especially with transporting all the beach gear daily. The property is very spacious and comfortable. The views from the living room and kitchen are truly wonderful and relaxing. The expansive deck was great for all of us to enjoy early morning and later evening, listening to the waves and enjoying the views ! The fenced back yard was an added bonus. We felt very comfortable and safe the entire stay. Even though there are 3 full bathrooms with bath tubs, 2 with hand held showers, only 1 with a wall mounted shower was a surprise, but we easily managed without issues. The 3 full and 1 half bathrooms was perfectly suited for our expansive family getaway.Thank you for facilitating a very relaxing and enjoyable family stay !We will definitely plan to rent Summer Breeze again for future Hershey Beach stays.

Exterior issuesLights Once we arrived we could not turn the exterior lights on. We called the managing partners to let them know and they said someone would come fix them which never happened. It was very dark and dangerous. West stairsThe stairs are about to collapse and fall down. Need immediate repair. Interior issues:The kitchen sink has become delaminated from the counter and has fallen 1 inch and has multiple layers of caulking around it. Not cleanable. the floor in front of the refrigerator is delaminating and rotting away Easy tub nozzle was disconnected and needed some tape to hold it in place Exterior doors are rusted. Handle falls off on primary doorOnly shower handle falls off. Can’t find hot water. And finally the fact that the house had one shower and not three made it very difficult for nine people to get ready.

The location to the beach was great. The pictures of the inside of the home wasn’t the same. The reviews from previous guests was a better assessment of the home. We enjoyed our stay.

Already summarized

Thanksgiving weekend with my extended family. 10 ppl total, 7 adults, 3 kids. Very comfortable, but dated bathrooms. Read the bathroom descriptions. Only one full bathroom with a shower, toilet, sink. 2 bathrooms with sink, toilet and jacuzzi tub, NO SHOWERS. And 1/2 bath upstairs toilet and sink. Some low cost maintenance/touch-ups would go a long way. Outstanding and fast Wifi. No curtains or blinds on windows, but we later discovered built-in electric hurricane rolling shutters. Look for light switches near the windows. Small “hotel like” bath and kitchen soaps were provided. We didn’t cook in the kitchen, but it looked stocked with essentials. Nice view of the beach. Comfortable and new reclining living room furniture. Outdoor stairs and railings need repairs, loose railing and nails sticking out.

Really enjoyed the home. We had wised for more than one shower but overall was great accommodations

Clean house and good location and access to the beach. But too many problems; only one shower, toilets should be replaced. overall maintenance needed. Stickers in the yard. Too much money for the trouble.
