Located in the heart of the peaceful coastal village of Weybourne, Summer Barn is a fabulous luxury, single storey barn conversion. With a great pub one-minute walk away, and a super, very well-equipped village shop also nearby, this hideaway is wonderfully situated just a five minute walk from the North Norfolk coast.

With parts of the building dating back to the Victorian era, this traditional brick and flint barn has been converted to very high modern standards, without losing any of its character as beams and feature flint walls have been retained. The overall impression on entering the barn is one of comfort and relaxed easy living. There is a lovely light open-plan vaulted living area, with skylights and full height bi-fold doors and windows that overlook the south facing garden, running the full length of the room. The sitting area has a wood burning stove to light for extra warmth and ambience, although with underfloor heating in this area and great insulation, you should already be nice and cosy. There are three bedrooms (king size, double and super king zip-and-link, with twin option) and three very smart bathrooms (two are en-suite), making this the perfect holiday home for couples and friends to enjoy time together. Summer Barn will suit families too, especially with older children.

Weybourne is a great little spot as a base for getting out and about exploring this part of North Norfolk, either on foot (there are some fabulous walks to explore from outside the door, both inland and coastal), by catching the Coasthopper bus service that runs through the village or by car. The Georgian town of Holt is just three miles up the road, where you will find boutiques, galleries and a variety of places to eat. Sheringham, the next coastal resort along the coast, is a bustling traditional seaside town where fisherman still bring in their daily catch. You will find plenty of facilities, including many interesting shops, a museum, pubs, restaurants and tea rooms, as well as a supermarket and filling station. If you fancy a day trip to Norwich, you can catch a train from Sheringham town centre.

Additional Information:
Two well-behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge)
Feather duvets, hypoallergenic pillows.
Travel cot and high chair available on request. Please bring your own linen for the travel cot.
There is no starter pack (tea, coffee, sugar and milk) or welcome hamper provided at this property.
Although this property is single storey, there are internal steps between the living area and bedrooms.

This a beautiful, well equipped property in a quiet village on the coast. It's ideal for exploring the coast and other parts of Norfolk. Everything has been done to a high standard and it is very comfortable and exceptionally clean.

Beautiful Barn in lovely location. Just as in photos. Plenty of glasses, cutlery, pans and crockery. Couple of suggestions- declutter some of the kitchen cupboards enabling more space for visitors food, etc. Duvet covers need to be larger ie when two duvets are used. Blind needed in Master Bedroom on suite. We had fabulous stay and enjoyed the surroundings. So much to visit.

A splendid barn conversion in the coastal village of Weybourne. Warm, comfortable and very well equipped it is very close (50 yards!) to the friendly village shop and pub, the Ship - open every day even in winter and serving very decent beer and excellent food. Parking space for two cars so a third needs to park on the road which might be a problem in high season. Very good facilities and fully equipped for self catering including double oven and microwave although lacking an oven glove (which we bought from the brilliant hardware shop in Sheringham) and, oddly, only four egg cups and five wine glasses in a place for 6!

We had a wonderful stay at Summer Barn celebrating 2 family birthdays. We picked the wettest and windiest weekend to stay but the barn was so lovely and warm, we made use of the log burner which was lovely after a short windswept walk to the beach and cliffs. The rooms were amazing with 2 en-suites and the third having a private luxury bathroom. Plenty of utensils for cooking in the kitchen and even a dishwasher and washing machine. Plenty of seating in the living area for all 6 of us. Pub and village shop/cafe in the village were lovely and not too far (3 miles) away from Sheringham and Cromer. Just perfect.

Summer Barn is a beautifully renovated, well equipped home from home. Perfect for relaxing with family and friends. It has 3 lovely bedrooms and 3 bathrooms - great when there are 6 of you staying. The lounge/dining/kitchen area is bright and airy and the courtyard garden a great extra - in the summer I imagine it would be fantastic with all the doors opened out onto it. This place is really special, great no matter what the season. We will definitely be back!

Group of 5 women had a restful stay barn was lovely very disappointed that I had to phone to get the single beds separated after requesting this on the booking form had to phone again to get the dvd player set up!!! A book is available with info on all appliances but couldn't find any info on telly and dvd. There were no toilet rolls or hand soap dishwasher tablets washing up liquid no basics at all!! A washing line is available but no pegs??? Covid can't be an excuse for not having these items as there were books newspapers games and puzzles available to use. Very clean apart from dust and crumbs under sofa when we moved it. The barn is equipped well in the kitchen area and plenty of towels. The area is lovely especially the beach good pub but probably would need a car to venture out!! All in all an enjoyable stay shame about the items mentioned.I would recommend.

We loved our time staying at Summer Barn. The barn is beautifully furnished and decorated. The beds and sofa are very comfortable and it had everything we needed for a lovely holiday. We loved seeing the sights of North Norfolk. The village shop is very handy with lovely bread.

Barn ticket all the boxes, lovely decoration, excellent FurnishingFabrics, good location + parking. 1. BUT no mattress protector & missing pillow protector on super king, stained mattress. Fully aware not legal requirements, but with Covid, surely this is totally unacceptable. One of the doubles had a stained mattress protector also. 2. Mid August, we had 9 tog quilts on beds, why when they were the combination style, where were the 4.5tog, no flat sheets so totally overheated whilst trying to sleep. 3. WC Rolls - on arrival main bathroom had a 1/3 rd of a roll left from previous guests, not even an extra one as spare , this was previously commented on in visitors book - . So we pay £1.3k for a wk & receive this treatment. Should we be sharing such items COVID is still out there. In summary, luxury accommodation, marketed outstanding, high quality sadly let down by shortcuts, poor attention to details, suggestion PROFIT is more important than guest satisfaction.
