Stayed Oct 12, 2025Cute decor and a well-stocked kitchen made the stay very enjoyable. The backyard was large and two white squirrels ran around. The house was immaculate and very close to shops and restaurants but still pretty quiet at night.

Stayed Aug 25, 2025Very cute property. Great location. It has most amenities.... Id like better cooking untinsels as I like cooking in. The backyard is private and secure for you and your dog. Ther are lots of dogs in the neighborhood so this set up worked out great. We didn't feel uncomfortable. Thanks again! I'll keep the Sugar Shack on my list of places to stay in Brevard.

Stayed Aug 2, 2025The house is well stocked and is in a wonderful location. We walked to restaurants and stores each day. It is also a short drive to Pisgah National Forest for great hiking and the Cradle of Forestry. We will definitely be back to the Sugar Shack!

Stayed Sep 19, 2024The sugar shack is super cute. Our dog enjoyed the fenced backyard. Brevard is very quite at night and the home is a short walk to shops and dining. We were there a week before Helene and I hope Brevard is doing ok after the storm. When western NC is open to tourism again the sugar shack is a good choice for supporting the region as a recovers.

Stayed Sep 3, 2024Nice quant house right outside of downtown Brevard. Easy walking distance to all the amenities of downtown. Short drives to the Pisgah National Forest for hiking. Perfect getaway for the price.

Stayed Aug 16, 2024The Sugar Shack was as advertised. Perfect location, minutes to downtown, convenient parking, and nice house, well outfitted. Check in was easy and I liked the free ticket, I went ziplining! I go to Brevard several times per year to visit family and I'll stay in the Sugar Shack again.

Stayed Jul 3, 2024It’s a cool little house. Everything we needed was included and easy to find, it was clean, and just nice. The location is great, we walked to downtown Brevard daily, and drove to Pisgah, DuPont, and Gorges State Park. The neighbors were friendly, and the property manager’s communications were very good, although we didn’t need any assistance during our stay. We’d stay here again.

Stayed Apr 21, 2024We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sugar Shack. The rental was clean, the kitchen and bath well-stocked, and the location (just a few short blocks off Main) was exceptional. Much of our at home time was spent in the fenced in back yard with our pet, being entertained by Brevard's famous white squirrels ( three at once!). Thank you for a lovely vacation.
