Beautiful, well-appointed house with stunning views overlooking a picturesque forest. The house was clean and incredibly comfortable. Every part of the experience was easy. We will definitely rent again!

Clean property. Easy access to everything you need. Would be great if it was mentioned that the property has a gas fireplace, not just a “fireplace”. We arrived with a small child and noticed that the fireplace was left on and hot.

Spotless house, comfy beds, quiet neighborhood, extremely well stocked kitchen, so convenient to Sugar Pine Point and Meeks Bay beaches. Ideal.

We showed up two hours earlier than check-in to see if the cleaners would allow us to put something in the fridge that was possibly going to go bad before the two hours were up. The house was empty and not cleaned. We called the host who told us that the manager was not working that day, but transferred us anyway to him. i forget his name, but he was from New York originally and he gave me his personal phone number to stay in contact if we got cut off. i told him I was concerned that the place had not started to be cleaned because there was a lot to do. The house is quite large. Within minutes two house cleaners came and we left. At that time there was only an hour and 45 minutes left to clean. We received a notice that our place was cleaned and ready for early check-in, and hour and 15 minutes later. When we came back the house looked clean, but then we noticed a huge stain on the hardwood floor in the kitchen. The floor was not cleaned. Then in the Master bedroom and downstairs bedroom, the cleaners had hung up wet towels that smelled like dirty feet. We literally had to rewash all the towels and clean the floor. I called the manager back and he was rude, so I let my husband talk to him. After that he asked us what we wanted him to do. We said, Pay us back the cleaning fee. He agreed to do so. It has been two weeks since our stay and still no refund. I test the manger every day and he says he will do it, then that he did it. He clearly has NOT done it.

We love staying at this house- it has everything you can possibly need with a big kitchen. It’s close to the lake and nice scenic walks. 10/10 recommend.
