Sugar Mountain Is a brand new home with magical views and breathtaking sunsets

The host was very responsive and the amenities were perfect for our group!

Amazing! Simply amazing! Where do I start?- Fausto left detailed instructions to help us navigate the ins and outs of the house and everything within. This set our trip off on the right tone.- He checked in with us once or twice just to make sure everything was going smoothly and if we had any additional questions.- The house is so well appointed. There were things that we forgot at home that were contained in the house. I even left my cocktail shaker at home, which was pretty annoying, only to be pleasantly surprised by the fact that there were two inside the house. The dishware and silverware do not look flimsy or cheap. Quality stuff there! There are enough pots and pans and extras, in fact, more than enough. - The house is beautiful with more than enough room for my family of five. The view is stunning and the little things, like the heated floors, the fireplace, and the game room downstairs made our trip so much more special.- Our son is a ski buff, and having several mountains so close by was convenient for him.We have two adult children, and one teenager, and as they get older, it is becoming more and more difficult for us to go on a vacation as a family as their work schedules don’t seem to jive with ours. Thankfully, the planets were aligned just right and we were able to go on a vacation as a family. I could not have picked a better place for us to make core memories as a family. Everyone raved about the place. Sugar Mountain house is truly gem.

Beautiful, beautiful home with amazing views. The moment we entered the property, everyone just went wow. You're greeted with the exact view in the pictures - except it's just so much more breathtaking in person. Expressions like words can't describe and the pictures don't do it justice is created for views like this. The house is impeccably equipped - the kitchen had everything we needed and more. We had a lovely time watching the sunset and enjoying the firepit. A great stay that really took us away from our everyday stresses. Five stars!

First, I'll start with the magnificent view in a very private setting.The house itself was designed beautifully, and very functional.There were views from almost every room.It's a chef's dream to cook in a kitchen with such beautiful scenery outside the window!Margaretville is 10 minutes away where there is a well stocked supermarket which included organic produce.Fausto was a great host!We would like to return again!

Sugar Mountain far exceeded our expectations! The home was so comfortable and well appointed. We didn't want to leave!We spent hours on the deck facing the mountains, sipping coffee then wine. It was pure magic! Fausto was very responsive and had great suggestions.11/10 would recommend! Bravo!

We like relaxing in secluded vacation spots with no traffic issues. This certainly suited our needs. It was a little remote to entertainment and restaurants, but the village of Margaretville was quaint, friendly, and had a handful of nearby spots to dine.

Stunning views Big open room lead out to large deck to enjoy serene mountain and reservoir views and spectacular sunsets. Very comfortable rooms and furnishings.

Long peaceful views from a clean, cozy and comfortable home. This home is perfection. 4WD vehicle a must.

We had a great time at this beautiful spot! The house was great and the view was amazing. We were there for a ski weekend - 8 adults. We enjoyed the fireplace every night and made use of the kitchen stocked with all of the necessary tools. Meals around the huge table and coffee with that view in the morning!!! Fausto made sure the road was plowed and sanded before we arrived and it was sanded again on the morning we left. The road up to the house is a bit tricky and 4-wheel drive is a must!! I only wish we had known that before we trekked up there! We did leave one vehicle in the municipal lot down below but the police were very accommodating and assured us that it happens all the time! We have plans to return when we can enjoy the warmer weather on the deck.

We had a wonderful ski weekend with friends at Bellearye. It was a short 20 minute commute to the mountain. It had snowed a bit which made the views from the backyard even better than they already were. We took full advantage of the indoor fireplace, the speaker system and overall space. We skied all day and came home to a cozy house with very comfortable beds. We shared great meals, fun games and dance parties. The house was very clean and the host was a great communicator. Thank you for hosting us! We will be back!

We had a great time at this rental. Check in was smooth and communication with the owners was seamless. The home is exactly as pictured and very well stocked with all the extras if you need them. The location is great for access to snowboarding and there are several restaurants in the area. The check out process was simple, which we really appreciated as that seems to be one of the biggest drawbacks to vacation rentals. If we could give more than 5 stars we would, we hope to be back soon!

Perfect for our weekend getaway with 4 adults and 4 kids. Well appointed, very relaxing and a gorgeous view. The foosball table was a big hit!

Cannot say enough good things about this house. You can tell a lot of love and care has gone into making guests feel like it’s not just a house but more like a home. Abundance of room and a fully stocked kitchen made it a comfortable much needed relaxing getaway for all of us.

We came up to do some hiking and see the fall foliage, but the view from the house was as gorgeous as some of the trails. Would definitely recommend!

A balm! Beautiful home with all you need for a comfortable stay in the mountains. Late August brought us warm days to hike and spend time on the deck overlooking rolling hills and reservoir and cooler nights to spend around an outdoor bonfire. Comfortable beds and state of the art appliances and rooms sized for company added to the experience. Can’t wait to return and check out new seasons to explore.

I have stayed at several top vacation homes. It doesn’t get better than Sugar Mountain!
