Stayed Jan 3, 2024This ski house was the perfect place for us! It has multiple levels which gave the kids a space of their own downstairs and both of the larger rooms had their own bathrooms. The owner checked in often and was very easy to communicate with. The place was clean and nicely decorated. It was a few minutes to drive to Sugar Mountain. I would highly recommend staying here.

Stayed Jan 15, 2026Had a baby gate which was very much needed and used. The hot tub actually got hot which sometimes at places doesn’t happen! Had plenty of items needed for cooking in the kitchen

Stayed Jul 22, 2024This lovely property is spacious, comfortable, well-maintained and fully stocked with everything you expect to find in a condo. It has a gorgeous view of Grandfather Mountain from both balcony's which was unexpected! The parking area is right outside your door, which makes for easy access with luggage, groceries, etc. The owners are easy to contact should you have any issues and will handle anything that may surface quickly and easily. We will definitely stay here again!

Stayed Jul 4, 2024This place was perfect for two families with kids. Three levels to spread out a bit when needed and beautiful views on multiple decks. Everything was as expected and location is close to many amenities.

Stayed Nov 9, 2023I cannot begin to describe what a home like feeling we got with our stay here from the minute we walked in the door!! Hands down the best sleeping beds ever!! The huge TV’s in every single room were awesome! Hot tub was amazing for the whole fam! So close to everything yet secluded with the best views! Decor was beautiful and the hosts were so responsive! Already looking to book our next stay here!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My family and I had a great one week stay at the Sugarcane Chalet!! Access is a breeze, the owner is very easy to communicate with, beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is stocked with everything you would need to make a meal, towels are a plenty and the hot tub was hot, clean and ready for us to enjoy! We would absolutely stay here again. Thanks for opening your home and hosting us!!

Stayed Jun 10, 2023My wife, her sister and I had a very nice stay at Sugarcane. It being the middle of June, rhododendrons were blooming and we were able to hear numerous birds from the deck. The hot tub was great after a day of hiking at Roan Mountain. Overall it was a nice stay.
