Stylish Retreat by Downtown, Wedding Venues & Lakes + Cozy Fire Pit

This property was exactly as described (or actually even better) and a great location. The owners have thought of every detail including s’mores, dog treats, coffee pods and sundry items if needed. Communication with the host was easy and questions answered quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was very comfortable for our family of three and dog. We appreciated having a drip coffee maker and very comfortable beds. The house is in a quiet and walkable neighborhood - a lake is just a couple blocks away. We wished the weather was warmer so we could enjoy the nice fire pit and grill.Jason was quick to respond and helpful when we had questions.

We really enjoyed our stay at this pet-friendly home. We loved that it was well maintained, super clean, and fully stocked with all the essentials. Location was perfect for us! We will stay here again the next time we come to Milwaukee.

This Iron Ore rental was absolutely fabulous! Everything was top notch. The place was SUPER clean, the beds and bedding very comfortable, and the host provided all the amenities needed, right down to three different ways to have your morning coffee! The hosts were very attentive with quick responses to any questions or requests. We will definitely stay here again if we’re in the Oconomowoc area!

The home was beautiful and well stocked. The host was also very responsive when we had a question about the internet connection and the TV. Finally, as happens in Wisconsin, it snowed. All walkways were cleared before we even needed them. Perfect weekend.

My wife and I and our Shih-Tzu stayed here for three nights and it was an extremely pleasant stay. The home is nicely decorated, very clean, and very well stocked. We even had a fire (wood provided) on the final night and made S'mores (kit also provided) which was very fun. Absolutely no complaints, and we would definitely stay here again.

This was the perfect place for our family group of six adults. The house is in great shape, the owners/managers were immediately responsive to a couple basic questions, and instructions were clear and easy. Air conditioning worked beautifully, we never ran out of hot water, and all appliances are new and in great shape. The kitchen is fantastic, rightly shown as the highlight, and was perfect for breakfasts. (We had lunch and dinner every day at a family home 10 minutes away). I grew up in the area as a kid, and Oconomowoc - while still very much small-town America - has grown nicely with a relatively large range of shops, restaurants, and coffee shops, and a sizeable grocery store is only a five minute drive away. The central part of town is a short walk from the house. The only real caution I offer would be if you have younger kids who need to be supervised: the backyard is fairly spacious, but there is an active train line just beyond it. Would we stay here again? Absolutely!

This was a great property for our stay in Oconomowoc for a family reunion. The home has been recently renovated, including all new appliances in the kitchen. The entire home was clean and well stocked with everything you might need. The fire pit, gas grill, and picnic table in the back yard were great for a Father's Day cookout with our family. Lastly, it's a short walk to all of the restaurants and bars in downtown Oconomowoc. We will be back when we visit Oconomowoc again.

Property is attractive and well maintained. Neighborhood felt very safe and excellent location close restaurants and shops. Oconomowoc looks to be nice little lake town.
