This is the perfect home for a mother/daughter weekend, family & friends visit, or special vacation in awhile trip! (Please note that the home is not suitable for any guest under the age of 12 due to the open banister on the second floor.)

Pamper yourself in the lovely Savannah Pied-a-terre, Garden Townhome located in the heart of Savannah's Landmark Historic District! This home was featured on the Historic Savannah tour of Homes and Gardens, and inside you'll find comfortable living, tasteful furnishings and everything you should need to make your Savannah visit wonderful, relaxing and memorable. Located 1 block from Whitefield Square enjoy a leisurely walk to shops, restaurants and all that Savannah has to offer. After your urban explorations, relax & recharge in your sumptuous retreat & private courtyard. Free street parking too! This is the perfect home for 1 or 2 couples, 2 to 4 close friends or families with teenagers (no children under the age of 12 are allowed).

FREE on-street parking. There is street sweeping on 1 night per week, so you may need to move your car once during your visit. Otherwise you will not need to use your car for enjoying Savannah!

This magnificent 2-story townhome features 2 serene Master bedrooms upstairs with hotel quality bedding; each with its own luxurious private en-suite bathroom. Plus an additional downstairs 1/2 bath powder room. Both of the attached bathrooms have large soaking bathtubs and large tall showers (one of which is an easy access walk-in curb-less shower) that take full advantage of the tall 11' ceilings. Bubble bath, bath bombs and bathrobes are provided so you can pamper yourself in luxury!

Having both eastern and western views ensures that the house can be bathed in natural light throughout the day. Thick curtains layered with shears ensure a restful nights sleep in the bedrooms and privacy in the downstairs living spaces.

This 1892 property was impeccably renovated incorporating custom finishes and modern amenities while retaining its historic fabric, including heart pine floors and exposed grey Savannah brick. The chef's kitchen features a 5 burner gas range, and high end cooking utensils available for simple snacks to full out gourmet meal preparation. Dine or savor a cocktail inside at the large island overlooking your private walled fully landscaped garden or enjoy year round alfresco dining outside under the shade arbor in your enclosed private courtyard. In winter the lovely Camellia trees in the courtyard are blooming!

The enclosed courtyard offers both a dining area and a separate seating lounge area for relaxation. Camellia trees draped in warm Christmas lights create a glowing magical evening ambiance. Relax with the provided luxurious outdoor blankets and enjoy an evening of intimate conversation. You will not find a more stylish and comfortable Savannah courtyard!

Be entertained with the large 55 smart TV in the comfortable living room; watch movies via Netflix or by streaming content via your phone or tablet on the bluetooth enabled TV. Enjoy secure high speed wireless Internet while you're a guest. If you have to do a bit of work while on your trip you can set up comfortably at the large desk area in the kitchen as well.

A bottle of wine (your choice red or white) or orange juice along with: cheese & crackers, coffee, tea, and filtered water are complimentary with each stay. Seasonal fresh flowers are tastefully arranged and provided for all our guests as well.

While we have always prided ourselves on having a clean and welcoming home, we are providing enhanced measures to keep our home safe and you healthy for your stay. As always, all linens (towels, duvets, blankets, etc..) are thoroughly cleaned prior to each guest visit. We also provide you with our Safe and Sound amenity welcome package in the home for our guests; including a full supply of toilet tissue, kleenex, disinfectant wipes & sprays, plenty of hand soap and hand sanitizer. We have in each bedroom and in the living room Levoit HEPA air purifiers with an Anti-Allergen HEPA Filters that captures airborne allergens, dust, dander, and particles. We have had ONE guest out of all our guests over the past 4 years, complain about smoke. I truly believe this was a weird anomaly as no other guest before or after has ever mentioned this to me, and I certainly don't smell smoke in the home - and I am there both before and after every guest visit. Please read all of our 5 star reviews - I know you'll be so happy with your choice of accommodations!

Building practices were very different in 1892 when the home was built so during the renovation we did remove all the plaster walls, inserted rockwool insulation and 2 layers of sheetrock for both sound and fireproofing.

***IMPORTANT** Please read fully our cancellation policy and our house rules as we do not offer exceptions or refunds other than our stated policy. We HIGHLY recommend that guests procure Cancel For Any Reason travel insurance after booking in case of emergency, illness (including coronavirus/Covid-19 as it is now a known entity), weather, government restrictions, or any other travel disruption or cause of change of plans. Please note that CFAR insurance is not available through vrbo and needs to be procured through an independent provider. This includes no refunds for Hurricanes, including mandatory evacuations - be it in Savannah, your place of residence or your travel route. Unfortunately we are unable to offer a change of dates, or any exceptions to the stated vrbo cancellation policy at your time of booking. If you inquire about a refund, cancelling or change of dates I will politely refer you back to these policies.

There is ample FREE street parking. You are walking distance to Forsyth Park, River Street, our amazing local dining and shopping. Or hop on the free city trolley stop just 4 blocks from the home at Forsyth Park.

Please note before booking! This is a quiet home in a quiet neighborhood for quiet people to enjoy. You must be 25 years of age or older to rent this home. While I certainly want all of my guests to have a fun and memorable experience, if you anticipate you may experience Savannah in a way that others would consider loud and/or raucous, please choose another property. Please be mindful that sound carries very well throughout Savannah, most especially in courtyards, porches, & patios and your neighbors during your visit are full time residents. If you are looking for a party pad I suggest you keep looking elsewhere for a more suitable place - absolutely no parties or events are allowed in the home or courtyard.

Please note the Savannah Pied-a-terre, Garden Townhome is not suitable for children under the age of 15 as the open railing at the top of the stairs is a safety issue for small children. Note that the home also accommodates a maximum of four guests only. No additional guests, visitors or animals of any kind are allowed.

Maps, guidebooks, and local Savannah periodicals will keep you abreast of that all Savannah and the low country have to offer during your stay. Also on hand is an assortment of books and games should you decide to lounge comfortably inside during your stay. We even have beach towels, picnic blanket and a cooler if you are planning a visit to Tybee Island, Forsyth park, or other outdoor setting. A full size washer and dryer with laundry supplies is also provided. A perfect home base for your couples weekend, mother/daughter trip, golf getaway or holiday shopping trip!

    Townhome is as beautiful as the pictures, very walkable to Forsythe park and beautiful Gaston and Jones Streets. Home was well stocked and maintained beautifully. Heather was extremely helpful with local information. Check in/out very easy. Highly recommend!

    We absolutely loved everything about our stay. First of all, Heather is an amazing host! She responded immediately to all of our questions regarding navigating Savannah. We didn't have any questions about her home because Heather placed cute signs everywhere and explained how everything worked. The home is absolutely lovely -- there wasn't one detail that wasn't addressed. An absolutely perfect location, perfect home, perfect host!

    This is a quality property, beautifully renovated with updated finishings and tasteful decor. Very nice flatware and drink ware… really everything we needed was thoughtfully provided and right where you expected. This would be ideal for two couples. But as a solo couple we liked having two full baths to expedite getting ready for evenings out. We were able to walk nearly everywhere and see much of Savannah. Parking in Savannah not really a problem we felt in the few times we drove. We hit a pretty rainy time and were really grateful for the oversized umbrellas Heather provided. Generally very quiet neighborhood, although the street on the front has some busier periods. Heather is a super thoughtful hostess. We would recommend this rental and we would repeat.

    Possibly the best maintained place I’ve stayed in Savannah. Heather and Wes take enormous pride in making this a nice respite. My husband and I visit Savannah nearly every year and bring someone with us. We’ve stayed all over the place, but never had a private outdoor area we could enjoy until this one.     Amazing time in Savannah. The location and TH itself was perfect. Loved the outside back area for relaxing/ having morning coffee. Just as described which made for a comfortable and beautiful place to come back to after a long day of walking around. We would definitely recommend and hope to come back!!

    This by far was the best customer service we have received from an owner of VRBO. Heather (the owner) thought of everything you would need in your home away from home and also greeted us with a beverage along with cheese & crackers. She also provided an awesome map that aided three sisters on a getaway trip and shared with us safe areas to walk versus getting off the beaten track.The home itself is immaculate and the beds are very comfortable. We had our basic needs stocked in the pantry if we decided to eat in - which we did. The home is in the historic district with some traffic but we never heard anything as the home is well insulated. Because it was in the historic district we were able to walk to many of our day outings.I would stay here again when traveling to the Savannah / Charleston area.Thank you Heather for all you did for us. Your home is amazing in many many ways.

    Had the privilege of staying in Heather’s beautiful townhouse in the Victorian District of Savannah, only blocks away from Forsythe Park and all the historical sites/homes of Savannah. Stay here and you won’t need a car. Everything is walkable! Tired of walking? A free trolley was only a few blocks away. Heather’s home is quiet and serene. The beds are extremely comfortable and the house has all the amenities you could want. We also really appreciated the outdoor space to just relax and discuss the day’s adventures. You won’t go wrong staying here!

    4 of us traveled to Savannah for a four day getaway and found our home away from home. Heather and Wes have restored a beautiful spot in a centrally located area of the city. In addition to the indoor amenities, there is a private patio that extends the living space of the property. We had both privacy and space to gather. This is a property that we would rebook if we return to Savannah.

    My friend and I came to Savannah to celebrate her birthday. We selected this property because of the lovely decor and the private back patio. Heather was very welcoming and explained everything thoroughly. Everything we needed was there, including extra toiletries and plenty of towels and she even left us some wine, cheese and crackers as an extra Welcome! The house is in a great location, very close to Forsythe Park, where we went to the Farmers Market on Saturday morning. We both had a fantastic time and really loved staying at this lovely home.
