    Retired earlier this year and shortly after my mother passed away in March. I’ve spent the past five months dealing with her estate so a relaxing vacation was just what the doctor ordered. Property tucked away on a quiet street nestled among beautiful trees. Had a few issues which the owner promptly addressed.All in all it was a lovely week.

    The house was perfect for our stay. It has a gorgeous backyard with a beautiful, big pool. It is surrounded by lovely trees and landscape. An easy drive into town. The home owners are wonderful and very responsive. We needed to make a change to our length of stay and they were great and very understanding.

    We really enjoyed the pool and the quality of the beds. The street was great location for East Hampton. The hosts were always easily available Great for a small family with one to two kids.

    We had a lovely stay at the Northwester. It was centrally located and convenient to the beach, town, as well as surrounding towns, such as Sag Harbor and Amagansett. It was the perfect size for our family of 5. We spent a lot of our time on the deck and in the well maintained heated pool. Jeane and Eric were very responsive and a pleasure to communicate with. We are already looking forward to our next stay.

    The Northwester, as this airy and cheery property is known, is a private oasis which feels like home. I only wish I had a kitchen as beautiful as this one! The kitchen, which is practically brand new, looks straight out of a magazine or the website Houzz. Beautiful slate floors with white cabinetry, quartz counter tops, stainless steel appliances and a carrera marble back splash. It looks expensive and feels luxurious. Having stayed there, I am now having my own kitchen renovated in this style! The living and dining rooms are an open layout and have vaulted ceilings. As a result, the house feels spacious and summery. I loved the layout of the living and bedrooms. Having two of the bedrooms upstairs provides for extra privacy, and the downstairs bedroom was helpful for my elderly relatives that preferred not to climb stairs. The bathrooms have all been recently renovated and are immaculate. I loved having coffee on the back deck overlooking the huge back yard and pool. It was very private and peaceful--only the birds to interrupt my meditation. The pool was large, clean and so inviting that I only made it to the beach once during my stay! Overall, the house was spotless--cleanliness is particularly important to me--comfortable and well-equipped. Also, Eric, who oversees the property, was extremely helpful and made checking in and out of the house easy and quick.
