This gorgeous, two-story home sits on an elevated corner lot, a position that fills the house with sunlight and views of the surrounding neighborhood. The center of Columbia City - great shops, restaurants, a farmers market, a movie theater - is three blocks west, and the light rail is only a few blocks beyond. You'll also have incredible access to Lake Washington at Seward Park (one mile), downtown Seattle (five miles), and Seattle Tacoma International Airport (10 miles).
Built in 1916, the house is full of turn-of-the-century character, from box-beam ceilings to the original oak and fir floors. Brightly colored textiles and vibrant wallpaper enhance the natural charm, while central air conditioning, solar power, and an elegant open kitchen bring in a sense of modernity.
After a day out and about in the city, there's ample space to unwind - on the covered front porch, outside in the sun on the back deck, or in one of two living rooms inside (one with a gas fireplace, one with a smart TV). In addition to the lovely bedrooms, you'll have a desk that's perfect for remote work.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

This home is very clean and well appointed. I absolutely love the decor and little personal touches throughout. The kitchen is well stocked with spices and all the dishes and appliances I needed.

It was an amazing home with very accommodating host!
The home was gorgeous with a really cool vintage aesthetic to it. All amenities were provided with bedding, lots of clean towels, dishes, dish soap you name it. The back yard was very charming with a porch attached to the house furnished with a table and chairs. There is also a deck at the floor level with chairs and a table as well and a fire pit off to the side. Communication was awesome and they answered all of our questions during the stay. 10/10 would definitely stay again.
