Both bedrooms boast comfortable double beds, modern wardrobes, chest of drawers and elegant finishing touches. Fresh white linen and clean towels will also be provided for you.

The character, end terrace property was built in the 1980s and has been newly refurbished, boasting a new bathroom, kitchen, carpets and a freshly painted interior.

It is a very easy walk into the centre of Chester. The house is located off a road leading straight into the city. Should you walk down the main road, you will pass some of Chester’s iconic Tudor style buildings and a shops, before reaching a brilliant view on the left, of the River Dee and Chester’s meadows, and views down the river of The Duke of Westminster’s Grosvenor Estate. You can also reach the centre by walking down the canal, coming across some lovely bars and restaurants before you reach the centre. By walking down the road or the canal, you will pass by a Waitrose for all your essentials.

With river bank walks, shopping, sight-seeing, good food and nightlife within a short walk, you will be kept busy, but will have a relaxing home to come back to after a long day! You will of course also be a short drive from Chester Zoo and the beautiful Cheshire countryside.

We are here to help and would be happy to give recommendations for restaurants, bars, good country pubs, Cheshire walks and must see sights! The welcome book located in the house will provide you with many recommendations on your arrival, or please request beforehand.

The family room was a bit too small for our family of 4 ( 2 teenagers and mom and dad). I was also not cleaned well. The area was great. And they did leave us some sparkling wine and snacks which was very nice.

Unfortunately we didn’t stay at the property as on arrival the car park was littered with broken shopping trolleys and vehicles with no tyres etc. On entering the property the living room was no bigger than a large cupboard, the sofa had collapsed on one side, we didn’t even bother with the upstairs. After complaining to the owners we fortunately got our money back so we can’t fault them there but we did miss the first day of our Anniversary weekend and had to return home and look for somewhere else to stay.

Steps at rear would have been easier with a hand rail. Unable to find a front door key. Lounge small. Request to put bins out. Parking a struggle being the end property. The grill hadn't been cleaned from previous users and mugs had not been washed properly. Fortunately I take my own mugs. Bathroom and bedrooms clean and roomy. Chester a nice break and bus stop into town nearby.

A lovely little pad, perfect for our short stay. Conveniently located on the edge of the town, it only took us about a 10 min walk.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tarvin House. Great location to walk into Chester and an Aldi just round the corner within walking distance. The property had everything we needed which was great, my only criticism is the covering on the window on the top floor was not sufficient. The sun woke us up at the crack of dawn every day so a black out blind really needs to be purchased.

Great little property ideal for a small family within walking distance of the town centre. Also supermarkets near by and parking was a bonus!
