Stayed Jun 4, 2026Very modern inside with nice features. We loved the deck for the view and the fire pit. The Kitchen was well equipped with modern appliances and lots of things to cook with. I had trouble understanding the trash protocol, but I called the host and she called back quickly and helped me out. All in all a very positive experience.

Stayed Sep 20, 2025The kitchen was fine, but all we did was boil water. The dishwasher was a bit of a challenge to figure out - so quiet we couldn't tell if it was on and there are no indicator lights. The view of the lake is partial and blocked by the railing - we moved a couple of bar stools out on the deck to see the lake.The biggest problem we had was with the shower, which seems to have a poorly installed floor of smooth stones. The grout was cracked in several places an created sharp shards which we discovered by stepping on them. Had to dig one out of the ball of my foot with a needle. I expect they'll have that fixed for the next guest.

Stayed Jun 4, 2025We so enjoyed our stay on lake whatcom. The outdoor deck is delightful! Kitchen had everything we needed for making coffee and enjoying snacks. The location is close enough to WWU but feels like an escape!
