There is an easy flat walk to the Bakewell Showground which hosts a variety of events throughout the year, as well as an area for fishing locations for trout or grayling along stretches of the river Wye.

The entrance to the Monsal trail at Bakewell’s old station is just a 10-minute walk from the property where you can set off in many directions to enjoy the well known walks, cycle trails and various pathways that the peak district has to offer.

The cottage has a wood burner and we provide a log for your convenience. More logs can easily be bought locally if required.
