    So thankful this property was available to house family in town for a funeral. It was very clean, comfortable, and the host, Dave, responded quickly to questions.

    Very cute clean little home. Noisy trains in the middle of the night a bit irritating. But overall a good stay.

    The property was in a good location to walk around town and visit shops and restaurants. Campus is close by too. The house matched the pictures and was a fit for my family of 5 and dogs. The washer and dryer is a bonus! If you want to stay in town with pets, this is a perfect fit!

    This is a cute and very homey house. The location was perfect for what we needed. The bathroom needs a major update otherwise we weee very happy with our stay.

    The backyard gazebo was wonderful to hang out. It is super close to SIU. It is city house with city noises. We come from the city so we loved the location and easy access to everything Carbondale. Close to hikes and wineries. The owner was great to work with. We loved that we could bring our dog. We will stay again.

    The property was clean. The backyard was perfect for the kids to run and play and for us to play some games.. The location is within walking distance of a lot of places to enjoy and driving distance to many great hiking areas. Nicely decorated and all the things we needed for our stay. The beds were super comfy.

    House was clean with new furniture. Photos of the property were accurate enough but hid some wear & tear, particularly in the bathroom. The trains were far enough away that they didn't really bother us. It was nice being close to the university and local attractions. The fenced-in back yard was nice for our pets, but the grass was unmowed nearly a foot tall. There's no direct door to the back yard - you have to go out the front door and through the back gate to access the yard. Future visitors should be aware that this house isn't located in a neighborhood with other homes - it's located between parking lots of various businesses. I recommend you leave valuables at home and stay aware of your surroundings when staying in this area.

    Very nice place with more work in progress as he had let me know to property. Check in was very easy and if issues arose ~ Dave was quick in responding. Great kitchen facilities to prepare our meals. Beds were all very comfortable everyone staying agreed upon. Yes the train track is close but did not really notice it ~ there was a concert down the street on Saturday but they finished up around 10 but we had no issues with people attending.
