This was the cutest cabin and perfectly situated between Giant City State Park and Carbondale. The decor was adorable and the host made sure to include all the necessary amenities to make your stay more comfortable! I will definitely rent again.

This cabin was amazing! We came for hiking and visiting wineries. It was close to Giant City State Park and wineries. It was decorated beautifully and had everything you could possibly want. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin! It made for a peaceful and much needed weekend getaway. The property is quiet, private and peaceful. The cabin itself is cozy and beautifully decorated. Everything you could need is stocked from grill utensils and cookware, to towels and everyday essentials. It made for a hassle free stay! The hot tub was spotless and a perfect way to end an evening. The complimentary firewood was a fantastic touch and the provided grill made for an easy dinner. The hosts are responsive, warm and made the stay easy to book and a really great experience. Absolutely worth the 5hr drive!

I make monthly work trips to the area and these have become my first choice for rentals. The properties are always immaculate and the beds are so comfortable. Every stay has been wonderful. While it’s only about 10 minutes away from town, it is very peaceful and quiet. Occasionally I’ve been able to watch the local wildlife from the front porch.

This place was amazing. Very secluded and the owners paid close attention to detail to really make this cabin beautiful and feel like a home. We loved our stay!

The cabin was lovely, cozy, spotless, and in a gorgeous location! Hot tub was incredible, kitchen was well stocked for us to make meals, wide selection of books. First time my fiance and I have felt truly relaxed and rested in a while. Nearly completely private (one neighboring cabin was partially visible from back deck) yet only 10 minutes from Carbondale or 20minutes from cobden or Marion both of which have some hidden gems of restaurants Tons of beautiful hiking around the area, we hiked to 3 different waterfalls, all gorgeous. Will be back!

We had a great experience here! The hot tub was perfect and we loved relaxing on the back patio! The whole place was so cute and we’d love to come back some day!

Loved this little cabin. I cannot believe that the owner had packed EVERYTHING you need into this relatively small cabin. There is a front porch, a rear deck, a beautiful washer and dryer, a VERY full array of kitchen utensils; super clean AND close to state parks, National Wildlife refuges and SouthernIllinois University. It is an ideal package

We have stayed in alot of places in our 20 years together and this was our favorite. Its clean, decorated nicely, very functional, amazing hot tub and deck. There wasnt a single thing they didnt think of. Im am so impressed by every little detail They thought of. I highly recommend and we plan to book again this summer and fall for our regular trips we make down there. Great job!!!!This h.

We booked this cabin for an anniversary weekend getaway. Everything about the cabin was perfect! We enjoyed the trail behind the canin. We also enjoyed hiking at nearby, Giant City State Park. Southern Illinois is beautiful in the fall. We hope to be back and highly recommend to others.

This place is SO CUTE! Inside was refreshing, clean, homey and really just right. My husband & I stayed here with our dog, and they took their morning walk through the trail behind all the cabins. The salt water hot tub after a day of hiking is soooo delightful. It was nice to have spices already stocked, and there was even a dog bowl for our girl. Sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee and my dog? 12/10

We recently took a trip to Southern Illinois and stayed in the “Elm cabin”. The cabin is deceiving from the outside as the interior is VERY nice and provides all the comforts of home and more. It seemed far more spacious than what we expected. The large front porch and back deck with hot tub provide some great outdoor time enjoying the beautiful wooded area surrounding. You also have an outdoor fire pit with LOTS of wood available for campfires, roasting marshmallows, etc. We would not hesitate to come back and stay here again. It was truly an enjoyable time!

Love this place. Cozy cabin in the woods with amazing hot tub on the back deck overlooking the woods. The stars are so bright from the back deck. 10-15 minutes from all the wineries. Will be back again.
