Stunning Views + High-Speed WiFi, Perfect for Remote Work, Pet-Friendly Home

This has to be one of the best vacation rentals in Crested Butte! What an awesome spot, especially for those with pets. My dog is used to a doggy door at home - and I was so excited about finding a property with one that also offers an absolutely gorgeous view of the mountains! The house was well taken care of, and the back deck made us not even want to leave the house. I’d highly recommend this property to anyone wanting proximity to town, amazing views, and looking to bring their dog along with them.

The house is charming! We loved the huge living room with sunset and sunrise views while relaxing before starting and ending our days. Beds were super comfy and the house had everything we needed. Would definitely book again! Super close to down and all of our hiking expeditions as well.

Excellent property! Everything was clean, cozy, and perfectly described in the listing. Being so close to the ski resort made our trip seamless. The host was very communicative and quick to respond to any needs. We would definitely stay here again!

Gorgeous views off the back porch. Our group of four had a very comfortable stay, with plenty of space to go around including for the dog. Very accommodating for pets, with fenced in yard, dog door, and beds. Cozy fires with the wood store, spacious kitchen for cooking, easy access to town XC ski trails. Satisfied with our stay all around.

We had such a wonderful stay at The Overlook. The large porch overlooking Mount Crested Butte is simply breathtaking — the views are unbeatable and made the whole experience feel so special. Inside, the house was cozy, clean, and very comfortable. The fireplace worked beautifully and made for perfect winter evenings. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked and had everything we needed to prepare meals. Everything was exactly as described, and we truly have no complaints. We would absolutely love to return!

Great place with an accommodating host.

The property was very nice and clean, The host is pet friendly even had a doggy door installed. The back deck has a great view of the mountains. The sun set is breath taking from the patio. The dog trail behind the school leads back to the home.

This is our 3rd straight year staying at Chad’s place with our pups! Amazing views, comfortable space, very responsive host…we hope to be back!

We loved staying at the Overlook! This was our first trip to Crested Butte, and the area and the house did not disappoint! We rented Chad's home for two weeks in Sept, and got to see the start of the turning of the fall leaves. Had some crispy, cool mornings which were great for us coming from South Texas! The views are phenomenal, you have a front row seat to Mt Crested Butte. The house is stocked with everything you need, even for long-time tenants. The TV in the family room is ginormous. This is our 7th trip to CO and this has to be the best view thus far!! Thanks Chad! PS - hit Butte Bagels and the Secret Stash for great bagels and pizza!

I don't believe I could find a nicer place, the views from Chad's home were amazing you can watch the elk and checkout the beautiful mountain view all day long. Backyard was perfect for our pup. Plenty of firewood for wood burner and firepit. The house came with everything we needed and was very roomy. I'm hoping to return.

We loved our stay! The location was great and the views were unbeatable. I would highly recommend. They even had a big bed for our doggo, too!

First off the views from the back deck make this property worth it alone. It’s a great place for a morning coffee or an evening drink and to stare out at the mountains that surround you. The home spacious and was very clean. Communication was great and the directions were spot on. This is definitely a place I would return to whenever I’m in the area.

Communication was great and the check-in process was easy. The house is as advertised with all the amenities we needed. The backyard and view was just breathtaking!!! We were so happy with our trip and would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Amazing views and nice easy walk into town. Had a couple of small issues and Chad was very responsive to get them fixed. Had a very nice relaxing stay!

We knew Gunnison would be booked and love Crested Butte. We were absolutely delighted. They worked with us on our dogs joining us for the trip. It was a fantastic stay.

This was our second time to stay at the Overlook. We really enjoyed our stay. The views are incredible. The wood burning stove is so nice and the proximity to the town and Mt. Crested butte is perfect. Also our dog likes the big doggie door and fancy dog bed.

We went to Crested Butte to ski and snowshoe and brought our 2 dogs. The rental had a fenced yard and terrific views. It was clean and comfortable and had everything needed for our 5 night stay. Chad was an excellent host.

For the 2nd straight year, we’ve stayed here with our pups and love it! The location and view of Mt Crested Butte is amazing! We’ll look to be back. The host is super responsive as well.

Such a beautiful property to stay at with our pups. Waking up to that view of the mountain and a huge herd of elk was a dream!

Chad the owner went above and beyond to help me with a car issue we had. He was so accommodating and helpful. The property is beautiful and has stunning views. We enjoyed sunrises on the back deck while the dogs played in the yard. The place has all the appliances you would need and is located just a very short drive from town. We will be back!
